24.01.2022 Wow! It’s been a busy week on the farm, but tomorrow you can find us at the new Slow Food Melbourne Farmers Market in West Footscray with our delicious Grass Fed Beef products! 8am - 1pm with strict COVIDSafe guidelines to follow. See you there!

23.01.2022 Last week there was a problem! A cancelled Farmers Market meant way too many oranges and mandy’s left after the weekend for one of our favourite citrus producers. So we connected The Orange Lady with the very well connected’ Susan Bois, and after a shout out, her friends came to the rescue, buying boxes of delicious juicy produce from Mildura! There were rave reviews afterwards. We particularly like the look of the Blood Orange cocktails!! Thanks so much for your help Susan!! I

15.01.2022 Are you going to a Farmer’s Market in Melbourne this weekend? We are so lucky!! A huge thank you for the collaborative work between the Victorian Farmers Market Association (VFMA) and the legendary group of VFMA Accredited Farmers Market Managers, who along with MP’s and loyal customers, rallied hard to reverse last weeks decision by the DHHS to ban ‘Farmers Markets’ in Stage 4 Lockdown areas! Thank goodness Minister Symes overturned the decision last Friday night and has no...w kept hundreds of small scale producers and specialty makers trading at Accredited & non accredited Farmers Markets in the weeks ahead!! The VFMA has worked solidly with the DHHS to create an approved specific set of Covid Safe guidelines for Accredited Farmers Markets. You can be assured that stallholders,Market Managers and consumers at Accredited Farmers Markets are taking these guidelines very seriously. Why? Because it is our business and livelihood at stake AND our customers shopping preferences at risk. So again - Thank You to Everyone who contributed to Farmers Markets being able to continue! They have been working so very closely with the DHHS and others, to ensure that Victorian Farmers Markets meet and often exceed the Covid safe protocols required to continue to operate! This week, the VFMA have achieved securing ‘Outdoor Food Markets’ (and stallholders) are Pe...rmitted Work Places. This helps your favourite farmers travel less stressfully from Regional Victoria through the Stage 4 checkpoints and be able to sell their products to you in a strict CovidSafe environment. It means your favourite farmers and specialty food makers can continue to bring you the freshest Victorian produce! So, how Covid safe is a Farmers Market!? The produce you buy has only been handled by a few. In our case, US and then YOU once you’ve purchased the item. And this is all in an open air environment!! Nothing like a supermarket, where I’m not sure how many hands have touched the item before me. So please, thank your local Farmers Market Team for being an Accredited Member of the VFMA, as this has allowed US to bring YOU an amazing flavour filled, fresh shopping experience!
