22.01.2022 I am very excited to announce that my entry "A Natural Scientist" has been accepted into the Salon des Refuses of the Brisbane Portrait Prize held at the Royal Queensland Art Society. This is a portrait of Melissa Little, a renowned research scientist that works in the area of kidney regeneration. She is originally from Brisbane having been born, educated and working there for most of her life, as well as raising her two children there. Now residing in Melbourne, she is widely published and her research has appeared in Nature amongst other esteemed journals.

I was mostly painting #pleinair #landscapes but some days were just too blustery, rainy and cold to #paint outdoors.
