21.01.2022 We are very fortunate to have 10 Fantastic Female General Practitioners at our centre. They are all experienced with cervical screening, breast checks and contraception issues, while some of our lady doctors have done further study in family planning and IUD(Mirena) insertion. Come in to the centre at anytime to consult one of our female GP’s or phone consults are also currently available by phoning 95401044.

17.01.2022 Our Covid testing clinic is open 7 days a week. Phone us on 95401044 to arrange a test as soon as symptoms present. With a new local confirmed case it is very important that anyone with any respiratory symptoms are tested immediately. Our hours are: weekdays: 8am - 4pm, and weekends 8am - 1pm.

15.01.2022 We are very pleased that our on-site X-Ray department will be open 7 days per week again, commencing from Saturday. Our X-Ray hours are 9am-5.30pm weekdays and 9am-5pm on weekends.

They will print off a covid test referral and you can come to the marquee in our car park where you will be tested immediately- No Wait!!!! We are open 7 days a week from 8am to 1pm for testing.

Here is a basic list: Children - Keep Immunisation up to date - Regular measurements on growth rates ( height, weight etc )... - Promote Healthy Eating, Drinking, Oral Health and Healthy Sleep Patterns - Promote healthy physical exercise Young Adults - STI Checks for the sexually active - Women commence cervical screening every 5 years - Regular skin cancer checks At 45-49 Years of Age - Measure Blood Pressure - Cholesterol Check - Calculate BMI (Body Mass Index) - Cervical screening every 5 years - Mammogram for women dependent on risk - Risk of Diabetes Calculated - Heart Health Check Performed - Yearly Skin Cancer Checks - Review risk of osteoporosis in women - Blood Glucose Checks 50-64 Years of Age - As above - Bowel cancer Screening at least every 2 years - Review risk of osteoporosis in men and women 65 Years of Age and Over - Yearly Flu Vaccination - Pneumococcal Vaccination - Yearly Skin Cancer Checks - Regular blood pressure checks: (from 3 monthly to 3 years depending on risk factors) - Heart Health Checks (every two years) - Cholesterol Checks (frequency depending on risk factors) - Aged up to 75, two yearly checks for Bowel and Breast Cancer Ask one of our Doctors about any of these preventative checks today!!!!

05.01.2022 Happy New Year!!!! Our practice is open today from 8am until 8pm. We are available in person and via phone (for our regular patients). Our Covid clinic is open from 8am until 12. If you are experiencing any symptoms or require a covid test please ring the practice on 9540 1044.

05.01.2022 Have you ever had a Heart Health Check? This is particularly important for those aged 45-74. Attend the centre at anytime for this check.

04.01.2022 We now have an official Covid-19 Testing Facility at the rear entrance to our practice. Every morning from 8am to 1pm our Nurses will be stationed in the marquee in our car park. How do you access testing: 1. Phone the practice on 95401044 for a telehealth consultation with one of our doctors if you have any respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, runny nose, tiredness, fever etc) 2. Our doctor will print out a referral and ask you to attend the practice (enter from Penprase Lane). This referral will go straight to the nurses in the marquee. 3. Enter the marquee from Penprase Lane and follow the signage.

03.01.2022 On Monday we welcome Dr Tusyk to the practice. Dr Tusyk joins us after spending many years working in the Australian hospital system. Dr Tusyk is a male General Practitioner who also speaks fluent Russian and Ukrainian.
