Zone Chair Christine Becker presented banner patches to all clubs for meeting various Lions Club...s International targets with Tom Becker , Julie Yeats , Tammy Meyer , Kaye Petersen & Jan Hewitt. 11.01.2022 DRUM ROLL & COMPETITION TIME!!! Camp Kanga is officially re-open as of tomorrow (02/06/2020) and we are eager to take bookings for for campers , fish...erman or those that’s just need to get out of the house (please note we will be unable to host group bookings of more than 20 people until stage 3 restrictions have been lifted ). With that announcement , we are feeling like it’s a great opportunity for a giveaway so most importantly what is up for grabs ?? We are giving away 1 week (5days) accommodation (either camp site or cabin ) and a delicious meat tray from the trusty local butcher, all you have to do is: 1 Like our Facebook page (if you haven’t already), 2 Tag 3 mates/family members who you might want to bring along, and finally 3 Share this post to help us spread the word! The competition will be drawn at 4pm Tuesday 30th June 2020 and the winner will have 1 year to make the booking. (Please note the booking can only be taken if we have the availability for the desired dates). 05.01.2022 TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CAMP KANGA. Unfortunately due to the restrictions announced by the Queensland Government Camp Kanga has had to shut our gates TEMPORARILY t...o comply with the new restrictions due to COVID-19. In light of what is happening across Australia and the rest of the world our thoughts are with everyone during this unprecedented time, especially our local community which is strongly dependent on tourism. The closure of the park is effective immediately until further notice. We will be on contact with all of our guest who have bookings in the next few weeks in the coming days. Once able we look forward to your future bookings and rest assured we will be back bigger and better then ever!
