For those that aren’t familiar with Gerry, he is a board member for Lifeline Gippsland, so we thought what better idea than to all get together and raise not only awareness for this great cause but also some much needed funding for this fantastic organisation that does so much for the people of Gippsland. 05.01.2022 We are celebrating our 10th Birthday this year and we wanted to give our communities, of Mirboo North, Yinnar, and Boolarra each a gift. Each of these communities are receiving a special 10th Birthday gift as part of our celebrations from the Mirboo North & District Community Bank. Our first 10th Birthday gift recipient is Mirboo North, receiving funding is the Revitalising Ridgway team to install beautiful new wine barrel planters along the main street. As part of this program the Revitalising Ridgway team will be having a working bee this Saturday 28th November starting at 10am - so if you have a spare hour or two pop on up to the main street and see what you can do to help.

03.01.2022 Last night Mirboo North & District Community Bank successfully held their Annual General meeting for the first time via Zoom. At the AGM it was announced by Warren Warner, Chair of Strzelecki Ranges Community Enterprise Limited (SRCEL), that Directors Matt Gleeson and John Butler, representatives of Boolarra and Yinnar respectively, will be retiring from the Board. Warren thanked both Directors for their valuable contribution to the SRCEL business and their communities. With growth beyond expectations, 10 successful years of operation with $1,102,304 community investment spend, and a fully franked dividend of 5 cents, what is not to like about this prosperous community business?
