25.01.2022 Yesterday, Saturday 10th Oct the Miriam Vale Golf Club held the 3rd Par 3 Classic. Sponsored by The Shop Miriam Vale & the Miriam Vale Hotel, we have a very BIG thank you to these two local businesses for their support of our club. It was a great day with a field of 44 enthusiastic players. The event was a 2 Person Ambrose in teams of 6, the 2 best netts to count to give a team score. The scores were very close and the winning team was The Mix (also know as the Old Boys!) - Don, Ross, Col, Frank, Gary & Tony, well done. All other prizes were given out as per a random draw of all players in the field. The only improvement for the day would have been a good storm a couple of days before. Let’s hope it comes very soon!

23.01.2022 Sunday 28th February Miriam Vale Golf Club held its annual Volkswagen Scramble. We had 80 players in the field which is one our best fields in many years. Players came from Kingaroy, Bits, Gladstone, Calliope, Miriam Vale, 1770, Bundaberg, Bargara, Moura and North Rockhampton. The winning team was from Boyne Island Golf Club of Ben Bloomfield, Jamie Croft, David Green & Shaane Kitching with a nett score of 52.875. They will now go on the play in the Regional Finals to be he...ld at Capricorn Resort in April. The Miriam Vale Golf Club thanks Bundaberg Autoworld for the sponsorship of the BBQ which was very much enjoyed by all the players. The report is it is the best BBQ for a Scramble .. well done to Aly & Greg and your helpers. We also thank Kyle and his hard workers on the course to have the course in great condition considering how dry it is and the lack of water. See more

19.01.2022 Next weekend Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th the Miriam Vale Golf Club is hosting its annual Mixed & Men's Opens Championships. Also on Friday 21st is our Ladies Open Championship. 16.01.2022 Wednesday 17th March at 9am the Miriam Vale Golf Club Lady Members are hosting their annual Walter & Eliza Hall Cancer Day. This is a 9 hole Double Canadian Golfer /Non Golfer. We are hoping for another wonderful day out. If you are not into golf there will be Hoy. Once we are finished golf & hoy we will have lunch, raffles & a goose club.... 16.01.2022 The Wackers Classic 2020 was held yesterday Sunday 2nd Feb. We had a great day with 80 teeing off, all seemed to enjoy the day, even though it was very hot!! The winning team was ‘The Mix’ and the most travelled was ‘The Want-A-B’s’ from Turkey Beach. A very big thank must go to the Team Captains, Steve, June, Gary, Matty, Gavin, Bill, Ross, Ed, & Robert, who do all the hard work of filling teams of 10. Also thank you to Aly, Greg & Di who put on a fabulous BBQ and Mick & Lis...a for keeping us all well ‘watered’!! 05.01.2022 The Miriam Vale Golf Club is holding the Annual Walter & Eliza Hall Cancer Day to raise money for the Walter & Eliza Institute of Medical Research. Hosted by the Lady Member and we welcome everyone to join us. The day starts at 9am. There is 9 holes of golf for those who wish to have game and for those not into golf there is Hoy with lots of prizes. 04.01.2022 On Sunday 23rd February, Miriam Vale Golf Club held their Volkswagen Scramble Qualifying Round. What a wet day we had ... though all who started finished the game wet but with some very good scores. Well done to all the players and thank you for your support. We were very pleased with the 60 players (15 teams) who supported our day which is great considering there was a clash with another event. Bundaberg Volkswagen were our sponsors of the BBQ and we thank you very much ...for this support, also thank you to Aly & Greg for putting together the delicious BBQ and helping out in the bar. The winners of the day were Shaun Allen, Scott Bretag, Michael Parsons & Shaun Sergiacomi from Bundaberg Golf Club with a great score of 58 gross (10 under par) giving them a winning nett score of 54. Close behind with a nett score of 57 were Dan Lusty, Scott Gibbs, Brett Kurtz & Chris Pettigrew from Calliope Golf Club and third were Neil Weston, Mathew Weston, Brock Wooldridge & Cory Daye from Bundaberg Golf Club nett 57. The raffle was won by Lex Cawthray, a $100 fuel voucher, and the stubbies were won by Gavin Cawthray, Mick Millard & Larry Halbert.. looks a bit in house to me!!! Once again thank you to Bundaberg Volkswagen and to all the players who stuck it out in not such great conditions and Aly & Greg for the BBQ and looking after us in the bar. We wish every success to the winning team of Shaun Allen, Scott Bretag, Michael Parsons & Shaun Sergiacomi who have now qualified to play in the Qld Volkswagen Regional Final to be held at Capricorn Resort Yeppoon on Sunday 29th March.
