20.01.2022 The Boyne Valley is in readiness for another great week end, The Elders Country Music Campout, 2 days of entertaining country music, Friday 13th & Saturday 14t...h , Sunday morning the Boyne Valley Lions Club will conduct our yearly Poets Breakfast raising money for Prostate Cancer Research. Country style breakfast , multi draw raffles & maybe an auction, Our Lions Club is proud to have bush poet Bob Pacey visiting us again this year, Bob will have you rolling on the ground in laughter I promise, See you all in the Beautiful Boyne Valley this week end. Cheers.

13.01.2022 Miriam Vale Lions were thrilled to help out fellow Lion Mike from Ayr Lions Club. Mike was passing through Miriam Vale on his "Ride for James" bike ride from Townsville to Brisbane. Our club provided a meal and accommodation for Mike and his crew as well as a donation of $200. Mike was riding to raise funds for his son James who is now in a wheelchair since an accident on Easter Monday 2016.... James will become an ex-service man on the 15th of May 2018 when he will be discharged from the Australian Armed Forces and faces many challenges, including housing that is wheelchair friendly, a job and modification of a vehicle that he will be able to drive and accommodate himself and his wheelchair.

02.01.2022 Miriam Vale Lions Club recently welcomed two new members to the club. Welcome Jill and Michael. Thanks to Michael Leahy from the Boyne Valley Lions club for coming over to facilitate the induction.
