21.01.2022 There are days when the only solution is to throw off the shoes and sit with the trees. Nature has a way of restoring breath and perspective. Often a little creature never seen on the path. Forrest sessions coming soon.

21.01.2022 For 11 years (as a teacher) I listened to teens tell me the words of others...it struck me how these creatures who often spoke so little had ears that worked like vacuums. I realised that the more I modelled and spoke in a way that created realistic expectations the more they rose to the standard. This does not mean they did not have bad days, tested boundaries or expressed their frustrations. Hell no. They shouted, told me I was unfair, got angry. But as they got older they... came back to express gratitude. I spoke honestly of what I observed. The injustice they faced. The harsh reality of growing up with so much pressure to perform. I tried my best to listen. I learned to distance myself when my emotions were getting to high. I used words that praised their effort. Hoped that they could handle my honesty so that they would value compliments when they came. Teenage Guidance and Mentoring sessions available. Message for details and bookings. 17.01.2022 Thank you to all around me that practise self care. Those that choose to stay in and rest. Turn their phone to flight mode. Take time to have a bath. It reminds me that I shall do the same. The ocean is my cleanse. I can tell my gills are dry when my breath shortens and my sleep is light. Diving under water reminds me to take long deep breaths on the surface.

01.01.2022 Taking time to step away from technology is taking time for yourself. Today my gift to my self was two snorkeling sessions. Nothing can teach me about calm and breath awareness like sea creatures. The more slow and smooth my movements the more I get to experience. Water sessions coming soon.....
