17.01.2022 Back when I was in design school, one of the first logos I designed was for my Uncle Dale & Aunty Heather and their catamaran. I was so excited to have real clients to work with. Being family, I got alot of freedom with what I could create, thankfully lol. A decade on, it is still the logo they use for their boat and I am often printing shirts for them and their racing crew. 12.01.2022 Didnt post about this at the time. Every year there are a group of people I design and print shirts for them to wear to RNB Live. Every year the design changes and the group grows in size. Last year I printed 60 tees and singlets. Whilst normally it would be easier to go to a screen printer, loyalty and the unique design has had them come back, 4 years in a row. 11.01.2022 When I started this business I threw around a few ideas with names and nothing encapsulated everything that I wanted to get into and try. I ended up with MiscINK (short for Miscellaneous Ink - not Miss Ink ) Misc is commonly short for miscellaneous. Meaning - of various types or from different sources. So I thought this could cover clothing printing, computer generated graphics, painting, drawing, photography, signage solutions, branding and marketing material, all th...e different ways one can be creative. And Ink refers to the different mediums and media used to create the desired outcome. Today on one of the projects I am working on, the miscINK was creating a lightbox so I could do some photography for an online store. I really do love the ability I have to be creative across many different mediums. I look for new things to do all the time. It is my self expression. I suggest you find yours!
