22.01.2022 In the process of setting up so called gigs on fiverr. Not as polished as EngLancer, or Freelancer or Upwork, however it is more flexible. It provides an escrow type service along with a market place. Do not have to bid and compete directly for proposed projects, and dont have some application monitoring computer activity so that can sell time. Rather identify the type of work willing to do, and those looking for work to get done, filter out those they want to do it. If ther...e is a competition it is to bubble to the surface. However if work is flowing from other directions, being at the top of the fiverr pile is irrelevant, the important issue is the escrow service, to verify people are able and willing to pay, before work is started, and the greater potential for getting paid when the work is complete. Though there appears some people have experienced issues getting paid on all these platforms, but they appear to be small in number. Though getting paid something would seem more preferable than not getting paid at all. especially if the real problem is a client who cannot make their mind up about anything. For example only considered 80% complete so only get 80% of fee. Anyhow that is something to consider at a later date.

In particular that the structural design does not involve any engineering and therefore registration of engineers wont solve the issue. Just because something requires calculations to make it fit-for-function doesnt mean engineering is involved. Engineering occurs at the frontiers of science and technology. Engineering is based on unproven mathematical models, on hypothesis and conjecture. Prototypes have to be desi...gned and built to validate the mathematical modelling. There is a high risk of failure and a need to return to the drawing board. Routine structural design, is based on validated, tried and tested technologies and associated mathematical models. There is a high level of confidence that the mathematics models the real world behaviour of the technology being designed. There shouldnt be any need to return to the drawing board. Its primary difference to the Kleinlogel spreadsheet is that it has design loads determined to AS1170, and can otherwise do a quick look up based on phi.Ms to find smallest steel section suitable. 11.01.2022 There are a variety of structures which are not habitable buildings and fall within the scope of the South Australian Development Act and Regulations which are beyond the scope of the BCA/NCC. It shouldnt matter as the SA Building Rules are meant to be greater than a mere reference to the BCA/NCC unfortunately it has not been so extended. Which is not surprising because building surveyors are a relatively myopic bunch.

Gained access to the original websites I set up on blogger and wordpress, and transferred from my dads account to my own accounts, as my dad wasnt actively doing anything with the sites. 07.01.2022 Been listing the business on various local business directories. Certainly increased the number of calls, but none of any value. Just marketers offering to use organic SEO to place business on first page of google search. Why would I pay them to do that which happens organically and naturally?
07.01.2022 Didnt know it was. If I remember correctly third angle projection is now the preferred method. It is based on object place at the centre of a glass box, and draw what you see on each face of the box. First angle projection is based more on projected silhouette. My dad with education in UK was taught first angle, my education here in Australia, I was taught 3rd angle projection, and its what we use. And the symbolic diagram representing 3rd angle shows as Ive described.
