22.01.2022 Massive milestone today for Miss Lissa’s place, today I made it official that after nearly four years of operation I’ll close on the 21st of December and not reopen in 2019. I’ve been so fortunate to have cared for the most amazing children and formed such strong relationships with families and grown so much as an educator, I do feel truly blessed. 2019 is a year of change where I’ll become a full time university student studying a degree in social work. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported me through this amazing journey.

09.01.2022 Over the past week I’ve noticed a couple of the smaller children really needing some extra help to wash their hands because they can’t reach the water properly. The thing is they are now so super independent, love doing what the bigger children are doing and don’t particularly like it when I offer to help all the time. Through a little out of the box thinking and using one of the many bottles we have in our recycling baskets the problem is solved. Master F is loving his new independence this afternoon. #misslissasplace #reducereuserecycle

08.01.2022 With Miss Lissa’s place family daycare closed now I’m moving into a new direction and offering private babysitting services in your home. I have eight years experience working with young children, police checks, current blue card, cpr and first aid. I offer reasonable rates and flexible times.

06.01.2022 It might look like a jumble of blocks, bottles and dinosaurs to some (not me) but to four keen builders this morning this is their ‘massive’ dinosaur city. Massive is one of Master P’s fave words at the moment. I purposely didn’t get the children to pack it away at rest time so we could continue building this afternoon.
