25.01.2022 At last! We passed a Council inspection today and are authorised to trade in the new location. Yi-haaah! So, friends, fans and followers- here is what we are doing next. Miss Sushi Northtown will temporarily relocate into our (future) new shop, Dump Truk Gyoza Bar, facing Flinders Street, next to the sandwich shop. Refer to the photo. Get your sushi there for the duration. Miss Sushi old shop will be gutted and moved into its new situation. This may take 1 or 2 weeks. After... it is finished up, we move properly into there, and then open our new venture - Dump Truk!!! Lots more about that when the time comes! See more

25.01.2022 We are still open. Will stay as long as we can - until closures are made compulsory. Trust us that we have ever been careful with cleanliness, but are ramping it up now for your protection. Do not stop coming - that is not necessary. Social distancing can be complied with at the tables inside.

23.01.2022 We are getting very excited! We are expanding again. This time our new shop is on The Esplanade in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast. The lease is signed and the drawings are out to tender. Shop fitting starts soon. Wish us luck. Visit us any time you are down there. Tell your friends too.

23.01.2022 No photos yet, but they are coming. We will SOON be relocating in Northtown. The new shop is well under way. Will keep friends posted because we will have to close for a few days for the move. BUT, no worries because... Item two: you know those YUMMY gyoza we sell at Cotters Market of a Sunday? Well, we are going full time! We are opening a second shop next door to the new Miss Sushi for dumplings, noodles, soups and salads. That will get its own Facebook page once it kicks off. HOWEVER, we will keep serving your favourite sushi out of there whilst Miss Sushi is out of action. Hope it won't be more than a few days.

22.01.2022 Still moving ahead! Not far to go now.

20.01.2022 OPEN! It was a longer and more rocky road than expected. But we opened for business on Friday 30 August 2019. If you were planning to check us out, just do it. Now is a good time. Love to see you!

20.01.2022 Come to the City Friday night 29 November. A great night is on offer- Townsville Eats combines with Christmas in the City. Come on down. Bring the family, friends, children and children's friends! Look for Dump Truk tent for the best supper ever.

20.01.2022 Check put some of our recent eye-popping, mouth-watering platters. Assorted Platters, vegetarian Platters, Local-caught prawns, fresh salmon, smoked salmon and meat lovers sushi!

16.01.2022 Meet Derek Wu, our sushi chef. Derek has been with us for a while now. Should have made introductions earlier. Better late than never.

11.01.2022 It still does not look like much, but we are progressing! Walls in and plastered, services roughed in floor tiles being grouted. Tomorrow the painters.

10.01.2022 Advertising on JobSearch website got us over 140 responses. I have been unemployed myself and so am trying to see every one of the applications and respond: and for well over a hundred people it will be "thanks, but no thanks, and good luck". This is not easy, and we feel for every one of these people hoping for a job. It's tough! Wish there was a way to change it.

09.01.2022 Here we are: today we traded in our new, temporary premises. We are thinking our makeshift fit-out works quite well. We could be here for 1 or 2 weeks. Fingers crossed. And look closer- preview of our new venture. When Miss Sushi moves out for good, we refit this space as a dumpling shop. As already intimated, when that happens we will launch a separate Facebook page and also do some advertising. Is your mouth watering in anticipation? Check out our wares on Sundays until then.

This was from ThreeBestRated.com.au... I needed to investigate that because I did not know this website, but Scamadvisor.com said they believed it to be a safe site. So, out of the blue, we are independently rated in the top 3! So wow! See more

06.01.2022 This week we finally started trading in our new spot. Do come in and look! WE are only 20 metres from where we were. All that lovely sushi and hot snack-food is just as before. Help us out. Please like this post and let all your friends know to look in. ... We hear (from our friendly cleaner) that some people seeing the old shop vacant, turned round and left Northtown, not looking that bit further to find us. That is sad for them and us too.

04.01.2022 We are spreading out. We are starting an extra shop! Teaming up with Dump Truk to offer two styles of cuisine. Soon we won't be the best sushi and dumplings in Queensland but only one of the two best. ... Watch this space, and we will add more detail as it unfolds.
