22.01.2022 I do not even know where to begin... One week ago I was crowned Miss World Australia 2019. To say this is a honour would be a understatement. This has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember and I am truly thankful for this opportunity. 20.01.2022 My sweet Australia Our remarkable Country is on fire and has been on fire for over 2 Months. I can not even comprehend the extent of these fires and the destruction that is continuing all over our beautiful Country. Over 5 Million hectares burnt and are still burning. Thousands of family homes absent. We have lost 500 thousand of our native wildlife and 18 people have lost their lives way too soon. ... To the Heros risking their lives every day and night to control these blazes, we Thankyou. To the people opening up their homes and supplying food, water and support, we Thankyou. To the people donating funds and supplies, we Thankyou. My heart aches for all those effected by these fires. Im sorry. I feel helpless and angry that this is happening to our beloved Country. 13.01.2022 Julia Morley, Chairman and CEO, has today announced live with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain exciting plans to bring 130 incredible women from all over th...e world to London for a three-week festival and the Miss World Final. Contestants will arrive in London on 20 November with the grand finale taking place on Saturday 14 December at ExCeL London. The opening ceremony will be held in London, each contestant will then compete in a series of fast track events that guarantee a place in the top 30. These include Multimedia, Sport, Talent, Top model, Head to Head Challenge and Beauty With A Purpose projects from every contestant, taking them on a journey across some of the Londons most iconic landmarks taking in its rich culture and heritage. Julia said: London is the greatest city in the world to visit. Its where Miss World started in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain celebrations and this year, we are going to put on the best show ever. Our Miss World Festival will be held in Thailand in 2020 to celebrate our 70th year. Thailand will be working very closely in London with us to share the London experience.
