24.01.2022 Just a reminder for everyone to keep their pets indoors or if unable to keep them inside, give them a secure and safe shelter out of the weather and make sure the yard is secure. The weather is meant to get worse overnight and continue into tomorrow. Keep those fur babies and yourself safe.

23.01.2022 Pepper came in for an undercoat deshed this morning. She definitely had a lot of hair to come out. She was extremely well behaved.

I am more then happy to give you some tips! If your dog is in need of a DESPERATE groom (e.g. extremely matted coat, not just needing a bath after they have taken advantage of this weekends rain) please call me or message me and I will try my best to help you out ...whilst adhering to the governments restrictions. Fingers crossed it wont be too much longer because I miss all those cute doggies Pic of one of my regulars, Brian, just for attention

19.01.2022 **IMPORTANT NOTICE** I have decided to take a temporary pause on new clients. (Excluding nail clips) This is due to the fact I am booked out so far in advance. As far as appointments go, I have 2 appointments available for April 24th (last appointments available for April) and then dont have anything until the 7th of May! ... So I politely remind clients to rebook at the end of your last appointment OR we can do reoccurring appointments for 6 months at a time to avoid missing out on an appointment. I also just want to thank everyone for their kind words and understanding during this difficult time. Zayla was certainly one of a kind and we miss her dearly

14.01.2022 Happy New Year to my amazing clients and their pooches. 2020 has been a massive roller-coaster ride for everyone and not something any of us have ever had to go through before. I just want to take some time out and thank you all for your continued support through one of our toughest years as a business. We have some big things happening for us in 2021 and we cannot wait to share them with you ^_^ ... Just a reminder with dogs and fireworks as there will most likely be tonight with everyone eagerly wanting to have a good celebration and say a big goodbye to 2020. 13.01.2022 Some of you know but some may not. The start of our new home has begun! Hopefully we will be in our new location in about 6 months time (hopefully). We will still be located in Newborough! But we are very excited and something to look forward to!

Billy was so well behaved today, which is something we are working on as he can be a little nervous and Bruno as always is full of beans and kisses. We then seen Miss Ellie for the first time. 13.01.2022 Its with a lot of consideration in regards to what is currently happening within our world, I have decided to temporarily suspend all current bookings until April 14th, when I will reassess the situation in regards to Covid-19 and government requirements. All bookings for the next few weeks have been notified of the temporary closure and at this stage I will not be taking any bookings but can take your name and contact information and will call you once we open back up. Ple...ase understand I have 2 young children at home and even though children are fairing well with this virus, I still want to minimise exposure for their sake and other family members who are in the high risk category. This has not been something I have wanted to do but my family comes first. WE WILL BE BACK EVENTUALLY. Please remember this and continue to support our business once we resume operations. Thank you for your support, from the bottom of our hearts, Sarah and Family at Miss and Pups Dog Grooming.

12.01.2022 WARNING -DISTRESSING INFORMATION I normally wouldn't post this on my business page, but I have a large client base and I know how much you all love your pooches, much like this family loved theirs. Unfortunately on Christmas day their hearts broke and their life will never be the same again. Not something anyone should go through, loosing everything they owned, but worse losing your furbabies as well. ... Please if you can donate to help raise some funds, Im sure it will be greatly appreciated.

12.01.2022 Unfortunately another lockdown means another closure. So we will be closed for the duration of the lockdown as per covid business guidelines. I have notified all clients this effects at this time and will work with them to reschedule. I will still reply to calls and messages for further bookings.

10.01.2022 Been a while since I posted some before and afters so here are our first grooms of 2021!

10.01.2022 Had the Gorgeous Molly in today for a clip and bath. She is feeling a lot fresher and stunning with her neat and tidy coat. Betsy and Brian came in on Saturday morning for a bath, Brush and clip. Its definitely starting to get to the time of year when you will notice more hair laying around. Check out how much we got out of little Brian! Betsy had her monthly clip, making her look neat and tidy ^_^

08.01.2022 Last day of work for 2020 today. I have been extremely busy the last couple of months as I was offered a job that is a major opportunity for myself and my family. WE ARE STILL OPERATING AND NOT GOING ANYWHERE, but I have had to make the decision of cutting down days of operation to only 2 days a week (Fridays and Saturdays) for 2021. Due to being so busy I have been very slack with uploading photos. Here are some before and afters from the last couple of weeks.

08.01.2022 A busy day today to end the week. First we had Betsy and Brian in for their monthly groom. We then seen Winnie and Charli in for their first professional groom. All I can say is what a transformation for Winnie! We then see sweet Ruby for the first time to clip her matted coat back. She is such a sweet and loving Pup. All our newbies today were beautifully behaved as well

07.01.2022 EDIT **SEPTEMBER IS NOW BOOKED OUT** I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your continued support in these times.

07.01.2022 I want to introduce you all to Eski. He is an 11 week old Standard Poodle puppy. Eski is an important Puppy as he is the newest addition to our family. We welcomed him into our home 3 weeks ago and he has settled in wonderfully! We have high hopes for Eski. Not only is he going to be our family companion, he is also hopefully going to be my grooming competition dog AND a therapy support dog. ... We hope he will be able to go to schools, kinders, hospitals and age care facilities and provide some care and love to those who need it. So be prepared for a bombardment of photos as he grows.

06.01.2022 The difference between a good bath and brush out, not just in looks, but personality as well. This is Aussie who is estimated around 10 years old. He has visited us this week to have a good bath and undercoat removal. This is his first ever trip to the groomer's (owners usually do it themselves) and he was such a good boy! We absolutely love a good before and after picture. He is such a beautiful boy and warmed up after only 10 minutes of being on the grooming table.

06.01.2022 Happy international dog day! In light of today being all about dogs here is a quick insight into Rumi and Zaylas past. Rumi was adopted by us from Starting Over Dog Rescue in 2014 when he was 5 months old. He was a goofy little pup and had grown into a big goofy pup. His favourite thing to do is sook when he is not snuggled up on your lap or on the bed and he also loves a good game of fetch, walks and of course Zoomies. ... Rumi is a Bull Arab mix and is a massive boofhead who loves everyone and everything. His nicknames are Pup, Rum, RumRum, Oi, and Stop it. Zayla was adopted by us when she was around 10-11months old in 2015. She had been dumped by a farmer in NSW and was quickly picked up on a rescue run from a rescue group who was located in Melbourne (they are unfortunatelyno longer in operation). She is a great dane mix (possibly greyhound or catahoula) and when adopted she should of been around 24kg, she was only 15kg (you can see how skinny she was when we brought her home in the photos below). She has a lot of baggage but we dont mind and have and will continue to work through it with her for as long as we possibly can. Her favourite things to do is play with tennis balls, (which is amazing as when she first came to us she didnt know how to play), always near her BBF Rumi and hoard socks. Her nicknames are Zay, ZayZay, Miss and drop the sock. Rumi and Zayla are the name sake for our business (their nicknames Miss and Pup) and we absolutely love them to bits. I would love to see and hear all about the origin of your dogs and what they love spending their time doing and their nicknames, so please post stories and photos in the comments below!

06.01.2022 I was hoping to be back working this week, but I am unfortunately going to have to extend our temporary closure. I cannot give an exact date yet as to when we will reopen. Thank you everyone for your understanding in these difficult circumstances. Please if you need any information in regards to how to tend to your pets coat, feel free to message me. I am more then happy to help out.

05.01.2022 Yep! Its THAT time of year where you have more hair through your house then on your dog. Today we had a day of lots of brushing and a LOT of hair. Indie and Jimmy came in for an undercoat removal and a nice bath. They both went home looking and smelling fabulous and left enough hair behind that we could of made another 2 dogs. Check out how much hair we removed from them today!

05.01.2022 2020 is booked out! Thank you to my wonderful clients. Keep an eye out on my page for our Christmas competition that will be posted in the next coming days! ... Bookings will be available from the 8th of January 2021 and we are taking them now!

05.01.2022 July availability Please note some appointment times are flexible. Please call or message if you wish to book in for an appointment.

05.01.2022 Grooms from the last couple weeks. Ive been a little busy between home life, returning to work and studying so i apologize of i take some time in getting back to enquiries. We are pretty limited with appointments this month so please get in quick.

05.01.2022 **28th is booked** I have appointments on the 28th, 30th and 31st of March still available. If anyone would like one of these appointments please message or call.

05.01.2022 A bit slack this week with posting before and after pics due to life being a bit hectic.

04.01.2022 PRICE INCREASE AS OF JULY 1st 2021 To our valued clients, Due to an increase in prices for our Supplies and insurance, We will be having a price rise to match this which will come into effect as of the 1st of July 2021 (New Financial Year). ... We have been able to get away without having a price increase for around 2 years but to balance out our added costs it is something I am having to do. I have always tried to make it affordable for everyone, but at the end of the day I am a business with expenses and also need to pay my wage. This increase is subject to dogs weight, coat type and condition, temperament of the dog and service selected. Some services have not changed in price, such as some weight categories for Bath and Brush, Hygiene and Nail clipping. To avoid confusion I will not be posting a Price list, but will let everyone know what their new pricing is as needed, at their next appointment. PLEASE REMEMBER the new price is not coming into effect until JULY 1st 2021, as I believe in giving people notice for added fees. The biggest change in our pricing is for Matting fees, I have decided that a fair way for myself and the dog, is to now charge by the hour for MATTED dogs only. Matting is something that can be avoided with the correct technique in brushing and regular grooming both with myself AND at home. If you are unsure on what brushes to use or how to correctly brush your dog, ASK! I am always happy to help! Matting not only causes problems with the dogs coat and skin, but also their comfort and enjoyment in the grooming process. It also requires a longer appointment and it causes a lot of ware and tare on equipment, costing more for maintenance. Please see new matting fees below. There will be a new declaration sheet for everyone to sign as of July 1st which will reflect the acknowledgment of this price increase. Thank you to all of our lovely clients for your continued support, without you we would not be here.

04.01.2022 Busy week back This weeks grooms.

03.01.2022 Some grooms from the last couple weeks.

03.01.2022 Update! Unfortunately as we were getting ready to leave we got a call to say Aaliyahs surgery had been cancelled today and will now be next Monday. It is incredibly frustrating but is what it is and at this stage I will NOT be rescheduling dogs for the week of the 24th. Please note if I DO need to reschedule, I will contact everyone individually and let you know. It all depends on her recovery. We will be closed for 2 weeks starting tomorrow. As some people know my daughter ...is required to have surgery on Monday due to hip dysplasia and dislocation of the hip. It is going to be a long recovery process and we may have to post pone peoples appointments at short notice. For those who I have already postpone, I thank you so much for being flexible and understanding. I will not be reply to messages or phone calls for at least a week, maybe 2 as my priority it my family. Thank you for your understanding during this time.

02.01.2022 **WE ARE STAYING OPEN ** Due to the new covid restrictions we have some rules that need to be followed. Everyone will be required to wear a mask on drop off and pick up of their dogs. ... Only 1 person (18+) may enter the premise to drop off and pick up dogs, if you have multiple dogs to drop off and need help bringing them in, please let me know and i can come and help you. We have hand sanitizer available at the window, near the door. Please use this BEFORE ringing the doorbell. If you are Unwell, have been in contact with someone suspected, a confirmed case or awaiting test results for Covid 19, or have recently travelled to a hotspot, please call and postpone your appointment for a later date. Thank you for your continued support.

02.01.2022 A busy day today starting off with Arlo (who I forgot to get photos of ) Skye came in for part 2 of her undercoat removal and bath and also let our little apprentice Noah give her a little brush finishing with Lenny, who was extremely brave for his first time here at Miss and Pups especially because we were in the middle of his groom when the storm hit. All fabulous dogs

01.01.2022 I have a last minute appointment for tomorrow morning at 9am. Please message me if you wpuld like this spot.I have a last minute appointment for tomorrow morning at 9am. Please message me if you wpuld like this spot.
