It’s the combination of colours or props that, at first sight, you’re not sure what the hell we’re thinking but then, you realise - the unexpected is exactly how you capture your audience’s attention. We’re here to make them think WHAAAT?! closely followed by WOW!. Then BAM, you’ve got them! 19.01.2022 THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD CELEBRATE EVERYTHING... We’ve certainly been banging on about the importance of celebrating for, like, EVER. Celebrating is good for everything. In all seriousness though, it’s a fact. According to Psychology Today who refer to social psychology researcher Fred Bryant (author of Savoring: A New Model of Positive Experience), when we stop to savor the good stuff, we buffer ourselves against the bad and build resilience - and even mini-celebrations... can plump up the positive emotions which make it easier to manage the daily challenges that cause major stress. Couple that with a grand piano and you have the essence of our creative mind! We admit the piano isn’t amongst our props stash but rather at one of our parents’ house. And yes, we were allowed to visit them at the time. Our aesthetic perspective may be wild but our morals are sound. Most of the time. Unless we’re dancing on tables. 16.01.2022 Remember the days when we scoffed oysters and French champagne like there was no tomorrow?! We do. Oh and we shall again friends, we shall again. Decadence is a little limited right now and that’s ok. It’ll remind us how special the special things are once we have them back. Like gazing across the city from a rooftop bar (we cannot wait until The Albion Rooftop - South Melbourne is open again!), swimming in the local pool and hugging the bejesus out of everyone!
