24.01.2022 COVID UPDATE! Due to the spike of 9 in cases in Queensland, 3 of which are in Metro North, I am taking extra precautions to keep my family and yours safe. I am only servicing families during this time who are following all recommendations by Queensland Health. Please social distance, avoid crowded spaces, and stay home when possible. If you are currently attending social events, gathering in large groups, or have been in any of the spaces that have ended up with positive cas...es - I sincerely apologise but I will not be able to care for your children at this time. If any members of your household are currently unwell, please let me know and we can reschedule for another time without a cancellation fee. I am also restricting the number of families I am caring for until it is safer again. I sincerely apologise for any inconveniences this causes, but I have several really vulnerable people in my own family as well as the families I look after. Please, stay safe. Protect yourself and those around you by social distancing, staying home when you can, getting tested straight away if you’re unwell, and wearing a mask. I hope that you’re all well, and hopefully I will see you soon. Miss Chloe.

22.01.2022 The best things in life are messy! Maleah and I have been hard at work, making some edible puffy paint for her to create her very first paintings. After two paintings, we went straight to the bath - it was everywhere from her hair to her toes! Thank you Mummy Tysharni for letting me post these pictures! This edible puffy paint recipe is so quick and easy. Just equal parts plain flour & salt, with a little water. I usually use about 2tbsp of each flour & salt, then mix in a... little water at a time until it’s the right consistency - it should be thick but still pouring off the spoon easy. Then, add some food colouring! Once baby has made their picture, pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds and watch the puffy magic happen. See more

20.01.2022 HAPPY NEW YEAR! I know it’s a little late, but I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported my dream. Whether you’ve booked me in permanently, as a casual job, or even just shown your support on social media by liking, tagging, commenting, sharing... I cannot thank you enough. You’ve made it possible for me to leave Childcare centres behind. I thought I’d be able to start my own business in 10+ years, I never dreamed of it happening at 21 after just... 4.5 years in the industry. I’m working as an in-home support worker, a nanny and a casual babysitter, and I truly couldn’t be happier. I’m blown away by the support this small business has been given by you all. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all your love and support. Here’s to 2021, Miss Chloe.

19.01.2022 I hope you have all had a very Merry Christmas! Sending all of my love to all of your beautiful families. Miss Chloe.

16.01.2022 My business cards have come in! They’ve been given the 3-year-old approval - I handed one to a little boy, who immediately kissed it. Thank you so much to Reneedesigns for your amazing work on the logo & cards. I am so happy with them! Cannot recommend Renee enough.

16.01.2022 Hi! Just letting everyone know I am only taking casual jobs for weekends at the moment. This is so there are weekends free for everyone - including me! This gives everyone a chance to go out to dinner, events, date nights and whatever else. My weekday regular bookings are filling fast, with some days entirely booked out. All weekday mornings are booked. Thank you everyone for the amazing support so far. I couldn’t have anticipated the incredible response to starting my own business, let alone to have this as my sole income within a month.

15.01.2022 3 months into my new business... all I can say is a massive THANK YOU. I’m booked fully Monday-Friday, with a wait-list building steadily for each day. I’ve got casual bookings as far as 12 months in advance. I’m able to fully support myself with this business as my sole income. I’ve been able to leave childcare centres behind, and stop the Centrelink support I was getting during isolation at the peak of the pandemic. To be able to work for myself has so vastly improved my m...ental health and even physical, I’m far less stressed and exhausted despite often working longer hours. I feel so much more job satisfaction. 252 likes on this page - thank you to each and every one of you for your shares, reviews, and every little thing you’ve done to help promote. I see all the tags in posts too - you’ve brought people in that likely wouldn’t have heard of me before, and it makes a world of difference. I cannot thank you all enough for all you’ve done. This has truly changed my life, all for the better. Thank you. Miss Chloe.

14.01.2022 DONATIONS NEEDED! A family of 4 has just lost their home to a house fire, including almost everything they own. They are desperately needing some donations, mostly clothing & toys. Secondhand is perfect! I am more than happy to come collect from you. They live rurally, so we will be posting everything at no expense to you. ... Clothing- Boys clothes - sizes 4-8. (There are two boys.) Girls clothes - sizes 8-10. Women’s clothes - sizes 6-8. Any toys or light household items would also be amazing, as we are needing to post everything we unfortunately cannot accept anything too bulky or heavy. Any donations would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you!

12.01.2022 A big thank you to Sarah Murray for doing the background for this photo!

11.01.2022 Hi everyone! I am cancelling all work for this weekend, including today and Monday night. I’m messaging each family individually, of course, but please stay home and be safe. Sending you all my love, Chloe.

10.01.2022 The Mater 5km run to support women with breast cancer is coming up, and a wonderful mum I know is participating. If you can, please show your support! Brooke Liz Duro

06.01.2022 Miss Chloe, I’ll always hold your hand. Even when I’m an adult. - 6 year old autistic child. Best review I’ve ever gotten.

06.01.2022 Mess-free sensory play! Using items around the house, there are so many ways to entertain little ones. Sensory bags are awesome from little babies to primary school age children, you can expand and explore all sorts of things! You just need some tape (masking tape or packing tape is best) and zip lock bags, which can be washed and reused later. For more rough children or toddlers, you may need to double bag your bags once you’ve filled them. ... From there, pour in some water. Don’t fill the bag, it takes a little trial and error to work out how much water you need, as you need to be able to tape down the edges and move around the things inside. Some ideas for sensory bags - Use food dye to colour the water. You can extend by exploring mixing primary colours. Add some oil. This separates from the water, creating a bubble-like effect. Add pom-poms or cotton balls. Add glitter. Add small plastic or foam animals/bugs/dinosaurs. You can also explore adding colour to it and having to find the creatures beneath the colours. Add small plastic or foam shapes. You can also explore adding colour and having to find the shapes. Add sequins. You can add just about anything! Just avoid anything with a sharper edge that could pierce the bag. Once you’ve added in what you’d like, release all the air you can and seal the bag. Make sure the bags are dry on the outside, then tape the bags to a clean, dry surface such as the floor or a table. Ensure you tape all sides. You may find you need to release a little of the water. Smaller babies love having these on the floor, nice and within reach. A quick, easy and mess free activity you can do at home that can last weeks! This promotes fine motor skills, sensory exploration, colour recognition, cognitive development, confidence in trying new things, developing an eagerness to learn and explore, and building on creative skills and ideas.

06.01.2022 I don’t think I’ve ever gone a day working with babies and left with a clean shirt. Some of my nail beds are currently bright blue from making playdough, and there’s pumpkin on my pants and jumper from a baby who loves to help at mealtimes. But what’s fun about learning without mess?!

04.01.2022 Before... during... after! Maleah and I have been hard at work making some very special Christmas cards for her big family and all of her friends. It’s never too early to get started, especially when everything is going to be hand made and baby will be involved in each one, plus there’s so many people Maleah loves! Personalised gifts and cards always mean so much more. If you would like any Christmas craft inspiration, please feel free to send a message. *The paint we us...ed is non-toxic and washable, Maleah hardly put any in her mouth but with having dirty hands it spread all across her face! A big thank you again to Mummy Tysharni for letting me share these photos.

04.01.2022 We officially have a logo! Thank you to Reneedesigns for her work on my logo and business cards, cannot recommend her enough. Support local!

03.01.2022 You’re never too little to start getting creative! Maleah is 8 months old. Together, we have tried a variety of paints and methods of painting over the past 2 months. We’ve even made our own puffy paints & jelly paints! Maleah has loved every moment of her creative learning so far. We’ve painted while doing tummy time, sitting against me, on a chair, using our hands and various household items, painting our handprints and footprints... it’s far too much fun! We often make m...ultiple paintings in a session, since she loves to just go, go, go! All the wonderful extras she makes go straight to family and friends, so everyone gets to enjoy some beautiful artwork. After each messy play session, it’s time for a bath and some nice clean clothes. When Mummy gets home, she has a clean baby... and a messy Miss Chloe! Who truly had more fun? Thank you Mummy Tysharni for letting me post these photos!

02.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Hi lovely families! Due to the recent spike in cases, I am taking extra precautions to keep my family & yours safe.... If anyone in your family has any signs of illness - cough, runny or blocked nose, fever, congestion or any signs of cold/flu symptoms, please let me know before your scheduled care. I understand that being cold and flu season, these symptoms are not unusual and quite likely aren’t from COVID-19, however I cannot afford to take that risk. This also applies if you or any members of your family have been in contact with anyone who has presented symptoms of coronavirus. I will happily reschedule you without a cancellation fee. If you are able to provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 test, I will be happy to come and service your family still. At this time, I am not taking on any new families. Once this outbreak is under control and we see a time without new, locally-acquired cases, I will be more than happy to take you on. I sincerely apologise for this inconvenience, however I need to keep my circle small for my family’s health and for yours. I’m still happy to give you a quote, answer any questions you have, and have a chat via messenger. Please follow all guidelines as set by Queensland Health. Social distance, avoid social events and crowded spaces, practice good hygiene, wear a mask when possible. If for whatever reason you are unable to abide by these guidelines, I will be unable to service your family during this outbreak. I sincerely apologise for any inconveniences this may cause, and I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Stay safe, Miss Chloe.
