20.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just wanting to send everyone a message now, not last minute tomorrow. I have just been notified by the scheme to close business for tomorrow and prepare for strong winds and heavy rain, as we are in the warning zone for cyclone Kimi. This is part of our policy and procedure for cyclone safety so again we will not be operating tomorrow until we know anything further. Thanks for your cooperation. Deb

19.01.2022 Started our day with an early icy pole due to being so hot, then onto comic drawing, toy exploring, book reading and playing restaurants. Having a great day today!

12.01.2022 Did you know that threading boards are not just fun? We learn hand eye coordination, develop our fine motor skills, continue developing our pencil grip ready for school and we work on our thinking skills. The beauty of learning through play. Well done Lucas on completing the Australian animals threading boards.

12.01.2022 Did you know that kids need 180 active minutes a day...when it’s so hot outside, why not have a dance inside.

09.01.2022 Our morning started with looking at the digger across the road, onto morning tea, puzzle time and then finished our morning off with Christmas craft.

03.01.2022 Learning all about each other, from who is in my family to what is my favourite animal plus doing squishy bag experiments with Lucas and Miss E today. We also enjoyed quiet reading time, where the children were able to select what to read. So much learning while having fun.

25.11.2021 Due to unfortunate family circumstances, Adam and I have come to the tough decision to shut Miss Deb’s Family Day Care. I am so sorry for putting you families through this, but if we could do it any other way we certainly would. Cassowary Coast Family Day Care Scheme are here to help families who are in need of care. Please make contact with myself though messenger or call the Scheme and speak with Jennifer on 40302285 to find out about available educators.
