25.01.2022 Being called out to remove snakes that have just taken your fur baby on as a feed can be quite distressing for all involved. My personal opinion is kitty cats are not a pet to own when living on the rainforest, as they can be so destructive to our wildlife but can also be seen as a prey item themselves, like this poor kitty was. So if u choose to keep cats please be responsible ie: avoid letting them roam the rainforest & locking them away of an evening. doing this will save a lot of heart ache.

23.01.2022 Eastern Small -Eyed Snake (Cryptophis nigrescens) Highly Venomous. These snakes rarely grow to (1m). Glossy black, without a pattern & ventral scales cream to pale pink. These cute dudes can be found all the way from Melbourne Victoria to Cairns QLD. These guys like to take up residence in rocky I’m outcrops & are frequently encountered beneath bark on fallen logs. Diet consists of skinks, frogs & other snakes including their own kind. Location:Kuranda

22.01.2022 Asking all of my family, friends & followers if u can help a sweet young lady I met recently reunite with her beloved fur baby as it is causing her a great deal of distress thank u Miss Hiss STILL MISSING ***LOST CAT*** Last seen Sunday 15th November around 11:30-12:00 at Kuranda old resort (Greenhills rd)... He is small and mainly black with some white stripes, wearing a grey flea tick collar and a regular camo collar with his name tag. 11 months old and is desexed and microchipped. 14.01.2022 After catching this big boy & after he gave me a nip, he got taken home to the family for a quick meet & greet, as one is from perth visiting & we wanted to show how big our rainforest animals can get...He was also given a beauty treatment that included a good de ticking & is now back in the rainforest where he belongs.

Brown Tree snakes (Boiga irregularis) Night Tiger Dolls Eyes mildly venomous, rear fanged with a bulbous head distinct from narrow neck & large prominent eyes with cat like vertical pupils. Can grow to around the 2 metres. Nocturnal & arboreal The Brown Tree Snakes bark is usually bigger then their bite!!!
