As promised am sharing some glimpses of the amazing unique and spectacularly beautiful ceremonies and settings I have had the privilege of officiating in this beautiful area..So many beautiful, tropical, romantic locations. Reminded me of the amazing wedding of Caitlin and Zac on Dunk Island. The specially prepared location was stunning: with that amazing background and... such fun as guests were transported to the island location. 18.01.2022 Bedarra Island last week reopened for another wonderful year of ultimate amazing getaways and romance. Perfect escape for a wedding or vow renewal and reminded me of the special wedding of Alexis and David who travelled from Canada to be wed on this beautiful tropical island staging point Mission Beach. Alexis parents also did the trip to be their witnesses and share in the Love and fun. That day celebrations of anniversary, birthday and THE WEDDING. There was so much love and romance and created amazing memories. 16.01.2022 We are very proud to share this with our past clients and future friends . Coleene’s grandson and Kylie’s son Ben is on the Men’s U23 team for the World Rafting Championships. For the first time this incredible event will be held in our stunning backyard . We are so very proud and excited to support their commitment to such an exhilarating sport and be involved in the community of rafting . I have never seen a bride-to-be more excited on th...e morning of her wedding day! Hayley & JD were just bursting with love and laughter all afternoon. They were both feeling a mix of nervous and excited before having a private 'first look' prior to the ceremony, but after the nerves were calmed, they enjoyed a gorgeous backyard wedding amongst an intimate group of their closest friends and family. Hayley had organised to surprise JD when he arrived by secretly inviting all his family and friends from down south and wanted to capture his reaction. So much love in the air, congrats again guys! 11.01.2022 It is now mid-June and the wedding season that injects so much love energy and employment to our area is not happening. Our beautiful beaches are a bit deserted but so enticing. The excitement and anticipation of all the couples that had organised their celebration of love in the Cassowary Coast (and elsewhere) abruptly halted by Covid. To those disappointed couples hang in there and remember "the greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return." Until your new plans can be made take a deep breath every ow and then, burn the candles, use the nice sheets and wear the fancy clothes Don't store them for a special occasion. Life isn't fair, but it's still good and remember to keep filling each other's gaps. .

10.01.2022 Mission Beach has the most beautiful locations especially for smaller destination weddings,circumnavigating Australia 360o and Colleen & Dave had one of those perfect weddings in the perfect location. This family was well into their nine month trailing completely around Australia from Victoria to Perth, Darwin Cairns and then home. The highlight of their camping/education/ bucket list trip they had planned and organised with Coleene before leaving Victoria for the west etc. a...nd ultimately Mission Beach as the perfect location to be married along the way. And what a beautiful day it was!! MARRIED with those closest to you in spectacular location on an amazing day. If the day wasn't perfect we could have had it the next day or when it was perfect. Such fun love and one of those perfect days that as a civil celebrant you love, love your job,and love love. So funny and natural, theycut the cake and during photos the dogs ate the cake. So everyone had a special day. 09.01.2022 The wet season is continuing and life and work is quiet. Love this time of the year because I know the rain is preparing a lush rainforest that makes the Mission Beach area so unique. Browsing thru past wedding photos (so many not posted and shared) now sharing some of the amazing locations and celebrations: to show everyone what a beautiful part of the world is the Cassowary Coast: and looking at all these photos reminds me how much I love my role of visiting special locations and celebrations all in the name of LOVE. Today sharing the setting of Natasha and Troy who created a very special setting for their marriage at Echo Creek. The decor created an absolute picture-book setting blending into the landscape. Both the setting for their vows and space for their guests to relax after.

01.01.2022 Here we are late September and still Covid is affecting the world of love.It has been a sad year for so many couples who have not married because of Covid postponing celebrating their love and nd commitment with family and friends. As member of aninternational the celebrants collective we are reminded that worldwide wedding plans have been put on hold this year. Back in March, when the world started to take note of the spread of the coronavirus and lockdowns and other safe...ty measures came into place, we all still had so much hope for how this year would play out. In April we pushed back weddings until October, still positive that they would go ahead. But then when we started doing the same for May, June and then July, and August succumbed too, our outlook and our expectations began to shift, and the positivity that once was there, fell away. There have been a few weddings but they have not been the original planned wedding:, instead a smaller version or an romantic elopement full of love at a local amazing Cassowary Coast location. We didn’t expect for it to go on for so long. We didn’t expect for our couples to cancel their weddings. We didn’t expect to have to re-arrange weddings. We didn’t expect to lose so much of our wedding income. We didn't expect to have diaries with spaces where weddings used to be. We didn't expect to not see the couples who we were excited about marrying. We didn't expect to see colleagues and other wedding professionals lose their livelihoods. We didn't expect to have to find new ways to help support ourselves. We didn't expect to have to console couples and help them to be positive, often encouraging them to marry closer to their interstate homes. We didn’t expect to feel so much sadness from something which usually gives so much joy. Now is the time we need all the love and weddings will go ahead in 2021 But will they be smaller? Or a bigger celebration or a big celebration following a Covid year romantic elopement. No matter what happens in the future don’t postpone love in 2021. You can still get married maybe just in a different way depending on the varying restrictions at the time. On that note we are happy to say that there have been a few weddings over the last few months and in the coming weeks in October we have some amazing weddings happening: So we know love is out there in abundance.
