27.01.2022 MISSIONAL MUMS ANNOUNCEMENT Hi Everyone. It’s been a while! We have had just over 4 precious months with our precious Knoxie, and the store has been closed while I take some maternity leave. We were due to reopen tomorrow . Matt and I would like to let people know that we have made the hard decision to press pause on Missional Mums for a while longer. Turns out having 3 kids under 4 is a lot. Who knew!? We have loved investing in Christian families through Missional M...ums. We continue to be incredibly passionate about partnering with families in discipling their children at home. We have opportunity to do that in many other ways now, but is our hope that Missional Mums will be in our capacity again in the future. We will keep you posted about this via our social media accounts For now, Matt will continue studying as we prepare for full time parish ministry soon, we will be serving God at college and our local church, and we will be raising our precious children. No-one else can be their parents, and we are so thankful for the priviledge and responsibility of bringing them up in Christ. While we haven’t stocked up on the products that sold out at Christmas, we still have a number of others still available. They are marked down in store now with huge discounts. The sale will continue (while stock lasts!) until Sunday 11th April at Midnight. All sale orders will be sent on Monday 12th April. Matt and I had never planned to start a business and have watched on with amazement and curiosity as God has grown and used it. We don’t know God’s plans for us in the future, but we praise God for Christian parents around Australia sharing the good news of the gospel with their children at home a...nd for the gift of partnering with them in a small way. . And to all the families doing our Jesse Tree Family Advent - we pray that it is a blessing to your family this season as you reflect on God’s great rescue plan for his people through Jesus. 13.01.2022 Advent day 3 . When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in... the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Genesis 3:6-8 . It can be so easy to miss Jesus at Christmas. Matt and I love to start each morning of advent helping our family to focus on Jesus - learning, celebrating, thanking, enjoying and anticipating him! . Today was a reminder that even though our world and our relationship with God was broken by sin at the fall, God already had a plan to make it right - the coming of Jesus the mighty snake crusher. We have stayed open for Christmas orders after the birth of our precious Knox, but will be taking a break for a few months to rest, celebrate Christ, help our family adjust and enjoy one another in this season .... We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you over the next few months. Although some items are out of stock (and will be restocked for our opening in April 2021), we suggest thinking ahead and stocking your pressies drawer for any birthdays, baptisms, baby showers, engagement parties, weddings and anniversaries you may have coming up between now and then .
