20.01.2022 At least 42 people have died and 20 others are missing since Typhoon Ulysses (aka Vamco) made landfall in the Philippines yesterday - leaving entire communities... under water. Field Coordinator for Cebu, Ps Rolly Nimfa, told us that "this is the result of the three series of typhoons." He said that he and his team "have already started donating blankets for the homeless in Bicol Region ... but food packs and bottled water are still the most urgent." Field Coordinator for Mindoro, Ps Danny Macuha, and his team are also preparing to distribute essential items on Mindoro island, and Bicol, and said they are "waiting for a good weather and clearing up of road."
