The Marylyn Mayo Lodge is located in Cairns, QLD and provides independent accommodation to members of the FNQ community who need a place to stay while they and their families undergo cancer ...treatment. Please bring donations into the Mission Beach community bank branch located in the woolworths complex, next door to Livelife Pharmacy, by the end of October.

We picked the Marylyn Mayo Lodge as we felt, though it may not be necessarily local, it is still a cause that is close to home for many in the cassowary coast region. ... With the cancer council estimating 145,000 new cases in 2020, You just never know who may be in need or benefit from these donations Please continue to drop donations of coffee, tea, biscuits, and other non perishables into the mission beach community bank located next to live life pharmacy in the woolworths complex. 12.01.2022 ONE WEEK TO GO Christmas is a time of giving and we at Mission Beach Community Bank are asking the local community to dig deep and donate. We are looking to donate food hampers to our local State school for needy families that reside in Mission Beach.... All we ask is that when you are shopping at Woolies to grab a little extra non perishable food items suitable for the Christmas period. It can be a hard time for struggling families and we want to lighten the financial load by donating a Christmas food hamper. The Mission Beach State School will hand out the hampers to local families in need of community support at the end of term in December. We will be collecting food items from 1st Nov- 3rd of Dec. If you would like to help please pop into the branch and put your non perishable food items under our Christmas tree.

08.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we are to announce our lovely Maureen is leaving us. Maureen has been a fantastic advocate for our branch for the last 5 years. She always has given exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to help our customers.... We will miss her beautiful smile, cheeky one liners and, cheery disposition immensely. We want to wish her all the best on her new venture and I'm sure we will keep in touch in the future. Maureen's last day is Friday 13/11/2020. We would like to invite you all to Maureen's farewell drinks at Noori restaurant this Saturday 14/11/2020 at 5pm-6pm. Pop in and say goodbye! There will be eftpos or cash purchases for drinks available.
