25.01.2022 MISSION BEACH LOCALS SEND CLEAR MESSAGE THEY SAY NO TOO PROPOSED AVIATION FACILITY It was standing room only at the Mission Beach Community centre with people... lining up outside to get in today’s Community Meeting regarding proposed Aviation Facility planned in Cassowary Drive. Over 200 concerned local Mission Beach residents came to listen to Guest speakers and voice there reasons why this facility should not go ahead. Many valid reasons were given why this not the appropriate location for this facility,those at the meeting acknowledged they are not against progress but it needs to be the right business in the right area.
