21.01.2022 Kenya is in Covid lockdown again and I think it is having an effect on our children. What do you think?? https://www.facebook.com/ivanbbbg/videos/10157890752787761
17.01.2022 Our list of monthly fundraising saviours has been started. Can I add your name to it? Will you help us save babies like this one who was left by the roadside, exactly as in this photo. I won't mention her name for privacy reasons but it was 3 years ago. ... We haven't found her Mama but we haven't stopped looking. Look at the care that was taken before that Mama left that baby. She was tightly bundled and carefully covered with an umbrella. I cant believe she is not missed everyday. Please help us not only rescue these infants but re-unite them back with their Mama's. We have re-united more children with their families than any other children's home in our region. Ken'Ya Help Us? We are asking for your help now. This is something very simple which will help us SO much. You don't have to leave your home or even your chair to do it! Couldn't get easier than that right? We are asking people to do ONE online fundraiser per year. I (Sandie) can help you set it up if you don't know how. You just share it on your facebook page for friends to donate. So all you have to do is choose one month. It may coincide with your birthday, or a special date. Run an online fundraiser for a week or two. Raise funds for Mission in Action's children. All donations over $2 are tax deductible. We have been crippled by the Covid dropout of some of our sponsors and we are trying to recover. While we understand totally the reasons why they cant support anymore we still have so many children to feed and provide a home for. If a lot of people do a little we can do this. Thank you so much friends. XXX

06.01.2022 Thank you to St Philips Christian College for their faithful support of Mission In Action Kenya. It always comes at a time where we are wondering how we are going to supply our school with what’s needed and also outfit our high school children with the extensive list of things that they need to start high school. Of course nothing is supplied in Kenya - even in a Govt school and the burden is on the family. When you hear the children talk about boarding school, all high scho...ols in Kenya - or the vast majority - are boarding. To find a day school would be hard and expensive! It’s just the way it is here. So when we have a child start high school the list of requirements is extensive and expensive. Think - a large metal box to keep things in, blankets, sheets, plates, cutlery, all books, all text books, all stationary, all uniforms, all personal hygiene products for the term. That is in addition to the fees. It’s a huge expense and very stressful when you have multiple children. So when St Philips does a fundraiser for our school each year it is an incredible blessing and lifts such a burden.
05.01.2022 Happy Sabbath friends
