22.01.2022 I got gifted a smoking gun by my awesome Mother in law for my birthday so just had to try it out, it came with recipes which I converted to the Thermie for ease - so today we had smoked bbq ribs, coleslaw and steamed corn with a smoked chilli lime butter, it was soooo feckin good!! Yummm The smoked butter recipe called for store bought butter, but of course I had to make my own
18.01.2022 His and Hers tonight.... pumpkin, spinach and ricotta lasagne (my own recipe) and curry mee laksa by Nikalene Riddle (Creator of the skinny mixers cook books) I made both these dishes for different friends today and kept some back for myself and Si’s dinner tonight, he LOVES the lasagne and I love Laksa, winning all round! Which would you choose?
07.01.2022 This is sooo handy, no preheating the oven and heating up the kitchen For anyone that doesn’t know, you can sterilise your jars and bottles in the varoma of your Thermie, even better you can do it while you’re making your stock!! Am I the only one that thinks this is fricken awesome?!

04.12.2021 Gotta love an organised spice drawer, I won’t show yee the one underneath it I still need more jars and more labels but this honestly saves me heaps of messi...n about finding what I need and it’s right under my Thermie. Happy days! Oh and if you haven’t checked out the Merchants Asian Grocer in South Hedland, you should, sooo much cheaper than the supermarkets! See more
26.11.2021 Team effort tonight home made pizza by Si and I had some chicken thighs that needed using so made skinny mixers Za’atar chicken. Also whipped up some home made mayo because we were out. Happy Monday guys

30.10.2021 My new favourite food Curry mee laksa from Skinny mixers a little taste of Asia is AMAZING!! Our friends had been out fishing and gave us some fresh cod so I used that instead of chicken and bok choy instead of noodles to keep it low carb.... Dinner last night and lunch today and totally would have had it for dinner again tonight

16.10.2021 Last nights fake away Skinny Mixers butter chicken is hands down the best I’ve tasted/cooked myself - soooo good. There are quite a few steps but totally worth it. I’ve got heaps left over to freeze
