21.01.2022 Bamboo that I cut yesterday from my lovely neighbour. Cleaned and cut ready for children the use as a weaving frame. Bamboo is an amazing natural resource to use its environmentally sustainable and versatile. It’s possibilities for the children is endless

16.01.2022 Due to the hail damage caused by last Saturdays storm, I haven’t been able to work this week. We have been staying in emergency accommodation until Tuesday when the solar panels were removed and the tarps and power were put on. Our insurance company is sending out the assessor on Monday. Let’s hope the rebuild is quick and no more rain please.

16.01.2022 My Mum gave us a box from her new TV. This week children have been using our big paint brushes to decorate this massive piece of cardboard. Then we made it into a very long cubby house outside.

08.01.2022 Over the last few weeks children have been creating rainbow collages, mixing coloured water and using eyedroppers to watch the colours change on paper towels. This learning experience all came about when a few children can into care so excited after seeing a rainbow in the sky.

03.01.2022 Last week the children were painting cardboard cylinders to make into spiders for Halloween. Finn’s hands become very black, he said they looked like scary skeletons. That started a great game with the 3 boys chasing each other with scary skeleton hands.
