24.01.2022 Okay here's my 2 cents about Jazida Productions's show "CATCH JAZIDA" This production was everything I never knew I needed! Jazida captivates the audience with her incredible stage presents, her energy and her INCREDIBLE costumes. ... Artemis has an incredible character, her interaction with the audience, her contribution to the story, her interaction with Jazida! What an absolute dream team. This is not a typical burlesque show, this is a full PRODUCTION! There's comedy (alot of comedy!), classic and neo burlesque numbers all tied together with the very well thought out story line. The way the two characters develop throughout the production really does leave you on the edge of your seat. There were moments the audience was roaring with applause, cheer and whistles. But also there were moments you could hear a pin drop - everyone was holding their breath, absolutely transfixed on Jazida, her words, her movement and her story. You can see how much blood, sweat, tears and LOVE was put into this show and it has absolutely paid off. 11.01.2022 While shooting with @etphemera a few weeks back, I went in feeling self conscious about the winter kgs I had found. This is the biggest I've ever been, which I think may explain the lack of activity and posts on here over the last little while. When I was looking through the proofs to pick the photos I wanted to keep forever, at first glance I automatically put this one in the 'no' pile. I thought, "look at my legs! You can see so much cellulite!" and then I noticed the love... handles on my back too. I thought this photo would never see the light of day! And then I stopped. Gave myself a lil slap and said no, this photo is BEAUTIFUL. Look at that soft lighting, my hair & makeup look so wonderful and I was so happy while creating this photo. And you know what? That cellulite and those love handles and my chubby cheeks do not define beauty. My pant size or number of kgs do not determine how I will feel about myself. You can be beautiful at size 6 or size 16 - beautiful does not have to fit in a box. It is so much easier said than done, but here is your Tuesday reminder that you are beautiful, you are great, you can achieve wonderful things and your body keeps you going! Look at you go!
