25.01.2022 In February 2019 Merv and Cos Biggs purchased 85 Reserve Drive with the dream of running a multi faceted business. We opened up M’Mates Place DIY Mechanical Workshop on the 15th September and Show’n’Shine Spraypainters joined us. Miss Q’s remained as a tenant and showed us that the Pool Hall would be a great business to add to the M’Mates Place concept. As a result on the 5th October 2020 Miss Q’s is now under new management. We thank Kerry and Vince for showing us the ropes, for helping us out and handing over a great opportunity. Everyone is invited to enjoy the great atmosphere of Miss Q’s and we are a family friendly venue. Venue opens at 12pm daily except Sundays and Pool competitions run Monday-Thursday nights. We are also open Friday and Saturday’s. Bar facilities trade from 12pm till late.

24.01.2022 So how do the Tuesday Social Leaguies finish out their Last Rodeo Season??? Well let me fill you in First Ingredient - A Cheesecake Challenge, yep take a little bit of Rosa & and add some bounty then take a little bit of Maureen & add some Lemon & Whalla you have a Cheesecake Challenge 17 judges grinning from ear to ear on a sugar high vote Rosa & Bounty the Victor! Thanks Chefs absolutely delish!!! Second Ingredient - Shots at the Bar! Take a little bit of Sambucca & a l...ittle bit of Fireball & Whalla you have a group of sugar high, liquor primed Grand Finalists!!! Third Ingredient - The top two teams ‘To be Decided’ & ‘The Flukes’ still couldn’t decide anything let alone what fluke could win! So after a full format the scores are even LOL! Sudden death playoff to force a Champion & wouldn’t you know it, scores are 1-1 in a race to two & Tom & Bailey are both on the black for the win! Finally Bailey decided the Flukes were actually skilled & claimed the match to take his team to Champion Status!!! Whalla! Congratulations ‘The Flukes’ Captained by Cylas Jackson with Muma Bear Tanelle Jackson & The ax wielder Bailey Bridgman Peters & no shame to the Runners Up ‘To be Decided’ Captained by Dan the Man Van Nellestyn with Papa Bear Tom Jackson & Master Chef Rosa Chour, a GREAT Final!!! Forth Ingredient - Most all happy campers have left for bed and dreams of victory bar one Damien Marshall who with a few caring supporters are looking for his keys, turned Q’s upside down & inside out no keys to be found! Messages sent to see who might have a key that doesn’t fit their lock & everyone responds bar one, Mmmmm...... A late night call to the only possible culprit reveals Big Dan is the Man!!!! Crisis diverted & Whalla! 19.01.2022 Tonight at Miss Qs we saw our Monday social league play the semis and Grand final of teams. What an awesome night of play with some very close matches. The final could have gone either way but in the finish it was My Face! Consisting of ,Taylor Jones, Peta Jones and David Casello. The runners up were Scott Dunbar, Lauren Johansen and Matthew Hibbitt. Well done to all who played and I will see you next Monday for singles. Cheers Shaz

16.01.2022 Tonight at Queens Park Recreation centre will see your venues top players battle it out in the finals for superleague. If you have the opportunity then please pop in and support the boys. Hope to see you there. Shaz xx

12.01.2022 Without too much fan fair the Intermediate crew knuckled down to the serious business of end game finals tonight. After a lengthy, close semi final it was Mixed Nutss Captained by Rosa Chour with Malo Vaaelua (and Nick Anderson who alternated with Malo) & Newbie Aleks Spirovski that dominated in the Grand Final over the Far Qs Captained by Shaz Stenhouse with Stone Stenhouse & Cylas Jackson. The Mixed Nutss barely let the Far Qs out of the gates winning 19-7 a really great e...ffort against such a quality team. Well Done Gents!!! Commiserations Lady & Boys. All new Season next week, if your looking for an entertaining night of banter & a quality hit out in a long race format come and join the ranks Congrats again to our Champs & to all who participated in this magic Last Rodeo Season, it’s been a blast & I look forward to seeing you all at Presentation on Saturday! 11.01.2022 Tonight as miss Qs saw our Monday night singles played out. It was an awesome night with some huge battles being fought. It looked like it would be a family grand final but Storm managed to pip TJ at the post leaving his sister Peta to take on the big gun. Peta put up a huge fight and took it to the wire before snookering herself and giving Storm the win. Congrats to all who played and I will see you on the tables next week for the new season. Shaz

We saw so many new faces, a few dads teaching their kids and then some bigger groups enjoying the food, drinks and relaxed atmosphere. 03.01.2022 Way to go Jacko!!! The last of the Last Rodeo League Series saw Miss Q’s favourite son, Stone Stenhouse & his Super League team mate Jack Hunter ranked no1 & 2 on the Advanced rankings, which in itself was a close contest with only 2 points separating them, congrats to Stone on that result. However tonight it was Jack’s turn to finish in top spot to become the Champ beating the young gun with skill & experience 8-6!! Great job Jack a worthy Victor!... Special mention to Newbie Philip Bell who placed 3rd & turned many heads over the course of the Season! You’ll be hearing his name many more times, of that I’m certain! Well done Phil. A BIG thanks to all of our Advanced Elite Players who participated in this and every season, your loyalty & ongoing dedication to Qs is appreciated & commended!
