This would have to be the biggest NO NO These steps are crucial to injury prevention and our mobility. Remember mobility is what helps us well into old age ( trust me, I was in aged care) TIPS 1 warm up - pumping up that heart rate, sending blood to your muscles. AROM - ( active range of motion) dynamically warm up the muscles / joints your intend of using in your work out. 2cool down- gradually recover your heart rate & stretch out muscles used. 3 stretch - stretching in between workouts is great for your range of motion. It will help get deeper in this squats! 5 Foam roll, massage gun! These are just about everywhere now, helping with inflammation and flush the lymph fluid helping to relax those tight muscles assisting with DOMS.
