25.01.2022 I was a bit sceptical when I first bought this paint from Craiola's in Ripley Arcade. Its very runny. But the range was huge and its Australian made and I needed some black. Just used it on a small part of a custom pop and I'm heaps happy with it! #buylocal #bigsmallsupportusall

24.01.2022 TIMEFRAMES I'm currently completing the orders I already have and then I'm going on a holiday in May. New orders will attract a minimum two months turn around time. This starts when the deposit is paid and photos received. CHRISTMAS ORDERS will close at the end of September. FEBRUARY AND MARCH I won't be taking orders due to my commitments with the Fringe Festival.... I do have a hectic fulltime job and other hobbies besides making custom pops. So these TIMEFRAMES will help me reach my commitments without the stress turning this into something unenjoyable. See more

20.01.2022 Hi everyone! I know I've slowed down a lot this year. Doing Marketing for our Fringe Festival has really consumed my time. But I have been doing a few in the background. Pictured below is a photographer "Mossy". I've also started getting requests for Christmas, and I know I won't have the same capacity as I have in previous years (sometimes working on 12 at a time), so if you'd like a custom, I'd suggest getting in early :)

09.01.2022 I created my first pop in a while this week and initially I didn't enjoy it. To the point I thought I'd pack it all up and sell all my gear. Then once it took form and started to look more like who it was intended and I relaxed into sculpting and painting... I loved it. Think I overthink sometimes and procrastinate and stress... and to be honest my spare time is so taken up with work for the Fringe it's a struggle to do this too. I only have one more order for November and 2 ...for Christmas, and that's the first time I've approached the silly season without a dozen on the go. And it feels nice and achievable, and I might even get to do the random personal presents I've been hoping to! So that's my update for now. Stay crafty friends. Being creative is the best thing about being alive. Xx

08.01.2022 For anyone who doesn't know, I've been volunteering as Marketing Coordinator of Fringe Mount Gambier. Event marketing has always been a passion of mine, and it's been a thrill! It has also been quite a workload on top of an already amazing fulltime job, and so I'm grateful for the current pop toy commission clients and their patience with me. It also means I haven't enjoyed the stress and guilt of feeling the pressure of deadlines, and as such after this round of current pops I'm going to reassess whether this hobby is right for me. Or maybe I just take a break. I'll let you know. Talie xx

04.01.2022 For some reason page inboxes are not working at the moment (not just here, but on every page I manage), and I know someone sent me a request for pops. Hang in there. I'm sure FB are working on a fix. I will start doing pops again towards the end of July. Working from home during COVID has mucked up my craft space so I need a little bit more time to restore and organise my space. Plus I'll be developing a range of original toys too. So watch this space. :)

03.01.2022 Last day of holidays so I whipped up some earrings for myself, using my Cricut and #3D printer. TEAX BMX was the bike shop Dad had when we were kids. We used to sponsor riders and travel to tournaments. It was a huge part of my childhood, and they remind me of Dad who I miss terribly. Maybe I should start a range by that name... Hmmmm......
