02.02.2022 Feature Plant - Hibbertia Vestita Guinea Flower I love this beautiful ground cover that flowers most of the warmer months. It is a favourite in my garden and gives constant joy. This very pretty evergreen ground cover bears the cheeriest little yellow flowers. Adaptable to most soils, it is easy to grow and perfect for difficult-to-grow areas. It is ideal for use in rockeries, colour contrast, borders, container planting and mass planting. Moderately wind & frost tolerant. Suits most soils. Full sun preferred, adapts to part shade. The plants being sold are in flower now so could also make a lovely gift for someone. Sold in 140ml pots for only $8.50

20.01.2022 Miss Tree will be at the Lismore Carboot market again this Sunday. As usual have a huge range of mostly native plants from groundcovers to trees and everything in between. There are over 90 varieties of plants to choose from, all with information and pictures to help you choose. It’s a large covid safe set up. It’s a perfect time for planting. Hope to see you there.

20.01.2022 The storms and rain have been wonderful for our gardens. It was starting to get very dry so it’s been a welcome relief. Just hope you have not got the hail. Something to check is if the water is getting through your mulch to the root zone of your plants.

14.01.2022 Welcome to spring. It's such a wonderful time of year. The gardens at Miss Tree nursery are looking awesome. The work done over the last few years is now producing stunning results. Some plants are revealing their potential to be show stoppers once they mature. It's a great time to explore all the nooks in your garden and keep and look out for beauties in other gardens and street scapes. Sometimes there are unexpected surprises. If you have a favourite plant post a photo here. I would love to see everyones gardens and special plants. If you come to buy plants you are welcome to look at the gardens. Just ask when you are here. Its a great way to get inspiration and to see how your plants will look when they are mature. Miss Tree Nursery is open by appointment most days.
