21.01.2022 Hello to all my Wandarettes, I hope u r all staying safe? I also wanted to say a but thank you to everyone who turned out last night at the Sportsman Hotel for Saturday Cabaret. It was great to work for such a responsive and appreciative audience. The biggest thanks just go to my guest, the legendary Malika Lam, who slayed as the amazing showgirl she is. ... Don’t forget it is business as usual Tuesday through Sunday with entertainment and fun. Just be respectful of Covid rules, play the game we all need to, and nobody will go home with a stiletto in their forehead... lol... kidding!!! Stay safe and fabulous xoxo Wanda Dparke
20.01.2022 Hello to all my Wandarettes, I hope that u r all coping with isolation and not going too mad. Thankfully things are starting to return to normal a little. I cannot wait for when the pubs and clubs reopen though. I will have to do a full body shave in preparation... and that will be like clear cutting in Brazil.... eeek!!! 17.01.2022 Hello to all my Wandarettes, Well here we all are, stuck at home for the most part, trying to find ways to stay engaged, and sane, and the hardest thing of all.... out of the fridge.... The upside for me at least is that I have more time to work on my show The Girl From Biloela, tweeking and changing a few things before I am able to present it to a wider audience. For those that don't know, I wrote this show about myself, telling the story and sharing anecdotes about growin...g up in a country town, knowing that I was different to the average country boy, and facing the challenges of being "the only Gay in the village"... well I THOUGHT I was the only Gay in the village at the time. I am powering ahead with the changes I want to make, writing some original songs to replace existing ones, and "fleshing out" the show a bit more to make it more appealing to a wider audience. I am doing my best to have it ready for when things return to whatever the "new normal" will be in the months to come... stay tuned... and stay safe. xoxo wanda See more

Well, Dancing With The Queens is presenting it's first VIP Event of the year and boy, do we have a show for you!!! As part of her International tour, we will be presenting Rebecca O'Connor in her Tribute show "Tina Turner - Simply The Best". This is a show you do NOT want to miss. 11.01.2022 Hello to all my Wandarettes, Well I am back in BrisVegas after shows last night at Balcony Bar Byron Bay... what a great audience!! And the team at Balcony Bar are as amazing as the last time I was there. Make sure that "Drag n Dine" is in your calendar for any Sunday in Byron Bay... Lidia Box is the guest host and performer next weekend so gird your loins BB... AND although I have left as host and entertainment manager at Dancing With The Queens... an amazing show is comin...g up this Friday 6th March.... Rebecca O'Connor with her show "Tina Turner - Simply The Best"... this is a show NOT to be missed... I know you have all been enjoying having some Drag on stage to enjoy, and have been taking advantage of the kitchen being back open for some fab meals. This Friday and Sat it is my turn to host and hopefully entertain you all. Keep in mind restrictions which are in place, but make sure you enjoy the limited freedoms we all have. 08.01.2022 Well last night was a fab net one at the Sportsman Hotel... these pics are from the second dinner sitting fir the night... and we had BootCo book the entire sitting... I love BootCo as they kinda get me and my warped sense of humour; plus they r always a pleasure to perform for. Actually both sittings on Friday and Sat were such fun... so good to have my hairs and hair finally back on... bring it in!!! Xoxo Wanda
05.01.2022 Hello to all my Wandarettes, It is only Wednesday and I am already exhausted this week. As I mentioned to everyone at Rainbow Karaoke last week, I won't be there tonight as I am at QPAC seeing Conchita Wurst and Trevor Ashley in their amazing show. In my place the wonderful Chocolatte Boxx will be hosting for me. This coming sunday I make my return to Balcony Bar in Byron Bay, to see my Byron family, and to hopefully... finally... be successful in my "Hunt For A Hemsworth"...... time will tell. 04.01.2022 Hello to all my Wandarettes, Well last night was amazing, even given the smaller than usual numbers of patrons we are obliged to stick to at the moment. Cabaret Saturday kicked off in great style, with the wonderfully talented Mandy Moobs Amal Andrew Goldberg sharing the stage and bringing her A-Game as always... AND... if that wasn’t enough, the beautiful Archie Arsenic was in the audience with friends and family (including Mamma Marianne Arsenic... ). Archie was in a fa...b mood and decided to be my unannounced special guest... of course they bloody slayed on stage. Anyhoo more of the same tonight, with Gayleen Tuckwood and Choccy Boxx hosting, PLUS a fab special guest. 03.01.2022 Hello to all my Wandarettes, I hope you are all being responsible and staying safe and respecting social distancing etc?? I know it is a pain but we need to do this to slow the spread of Covid and keep ourselves and our loved ones as safe as possible. I encourage you all to support our venues and entertainers as much as you can. For most of us it is our only source of income, and most of us are working with limitations out of our control.... SOOOOOOOO try and support all ou...r venues and all our entertainers when you can. I am grateful to still be working at the Sportsman Hotel, and the Management are doing all they can to support us all. After a nightmare week recovering from dental work that went wrong, I will be returning to the Sporties this Sat for "Cabaret Saturday", with my special guest this week the Legendary Malika Lam!!!
