26.01.2022 Hello Friday! TGIF this week has gone past so quick, it’s back to school next Monday for the kids. It brings me great joy to see a young lady rising up to her entrepreneurial dream of creating her own handmade accessories business- we present to you A&E Accessories, I had the privilege of this young lady, Elizabeth coming to my house recently to show case her lovely handmade products- earrings, hair clips, cute pins and she’s partnered with her friend to handmade these cute ...tote bags. I love supporting small local businesses.. What amazes me is that a portion of her sales goes to WA wildlife to support their favorite charity! Everything is very organized from recording her sales in her book, flyers, organising her products and packaging them in nice looking bags to dealing with customers. It just goes to show that you can start your own business while you are young! Never underestimate your dream! Shout out to this 10 year old lady Elizabeth. The corn flakes gives it a special crunch, mixed fruits and coated with melted dark chocolate Fun facts- In terms of the Florentine cookies, it seems as though they actually have French origins, but were named florentine after Catherine de'Medici, the Florentine queen of France from the mid-17th century.

24.12.2021 Hello Tuesday! A much cooler day today phew.. Since last year I’ve been wanting to work on a granola bars recipe for awhile but just didn’t have the time to experiment them. So I finally had some time this year to work on this recipe. Really happy with this recipe- packed with dates, roasted almonds to give that extra crunch, some dark chocolate chips, healthy oats and yummy peanut butter. A nice healthy protein bar. TGIF Exciting plans for Missy M Sweets 2022 Happy new year everyone and welcome to 2022 here are our latest updates: after a well deserved break, reflecting upon our business on what has worked and what hasn’t- going forward the following changes will happen this year 1. We will no longer be doing market stalls, festivals and events but instead will be focusing our energy in having sampling and tasting events at Iga Preston Street and the Store Espresso whe...re we still get to meet the locals! 2. There will be no plans for expansion to other retail stores this year. We will only be sourcing our products to only 2 stockists- Iga Preston street & The Store Espresso this year. We’ll be launching our third retail products soon! Exciting! It will be one of our healthy range of desserts! Stay tuned. 3. We will continue to ship our retail products across Australia! Simply order online via our website! Public orders will continue with minimum order of $50. 4. Global Sisters Business Meet Ups- our first meet up will be on Friday 25th Feb 10am-12pm at our new venue at South Perth! This meet up is open for all women in business and for those who would like to start their own business for accountability, support and networking in their business journey! 5. We’ll be focusing our energy this year to implement the social enterprise component of our business- my why in my business is to channel my creativity and passion in baking and to help women who are either in business or are financially struggling in obtaining employment. We look for partnership with other NFPs to make an impact within the community. The area of space we are looking at is homelessness, mental health and Domestic Violence.
