22.01.2022 Love our products but can't always fit them into your budget? We take great pride in the products we produce. We don't make cheap produce and we aren't willing to take short cuts to create cheap products. But price and your budget shouldn't be a barrier to quality food! Have you ever heard of buying groups?

18.01.2022 The Queen, having a bit of a rest at the dairy before she has to walk all the way back to her paddock. How she gets up there with her bulk is a great question!
17.01.2022 Ravenshoe is the highest town in Queensland and in winter it gets very cold! It's where one of our Misty farms is located and it gets so cold the cows there grow wooly coats! How cute are fluffy cows?

06.01.2022 To our awesome customers who just want more of our milk - we hear you! We are actively investigating a 3L option but it is a process. Please bear with us as we sort this out. We hope to trial milk in 3L bottles later this year!
05.01.2022 Who's heard of Green Banana pancakes? Meghan Greenwood gave them a go and even made some homemade yoghurt from Misty milk to go with them! They certainly look like they go alright! ... Has anyone tried making yoghurt at home? We'd love to see your creations!

01.01.2022 Milk price increase You will have seen by now the size of our milk bottles has changed from 2 litre to 1.5 litre. To see the reasons why please read our May blog..... https://www.mistymountainfarms.com.au//do-your-jersey-far/ The price per litre has also increased. Some of this price rise can be attributed to us but a significant amount of the change can be laid at the feet of the supermarkets. In the past, the larger supermarkets have discounted the cost of milk and other products to get people into their store. In fact, nearby stores visit their competitors on a regular basis to price check certain lines and then match or lower prices to entice people in. This has had the tendency to reduce prices which is great for you the customer and as it gets more people into store so it's also good for the supermarket. Some of the larger stores were selling our 2 litre Misty for as low as $4.15 per bottle which is 80c below the recommended price of $4.95. However now the recommended price for the 1.5 litre milk is $4.69 the same stores are selling it for 4.80 and even some at $5.95 and not passing on the savings to customers. Although we are unable to dictate the end price that stores charge we had hoped they would not increase their margin. Stores are trying to get the highest return which obviously does not bode well for us or our customers. It’s a tricky time, whilst these tactics play out. Hopefully a new round of competitive pricing on our milk will occur soon for our customers. We are lobbying them to be fair and for stores that have been giving savings in the past to again pass on the same savings. Especially in these difficult times. Feel free to lobby the large retailers to play fair and pass on the savings as they have previously! #fairpriceforfarmers #fairpriceforcustomers #jerseymilk
01.01.2022 Just some cows, living their best life and doing what they do best!
