23.01.2022 Being at the beach is one of the Franco families past times where they enjoy each others company while looking through the sand for treasures and jumping waves. It's always wonderful to me when a family chooses to have their portraits at a special place where they create a lot of memories together. Palm Cove is their fave Cairns beach and it's easy to see why! Beautiful views, surrounding palms and lots of beautiful restaurants and eateries to indulge at. It's the good life.

14.01.2022 These little sisters reminded me of my own two little blondies, similar age difference & similar sister vibes, lots of love and silliness. Another beautiful family portrait session in Cairns. These were taken as part of a group family reunion session with this family visiting from the Gold Coast especially to celebrate their parents 50th wedding anniversary.

14.01.2022 Children's birthday party at Funefarm Whiterock Clearly you will see that some of the animals thought it was their party, the Geese made a grand entrance and the piglets wouldn't keep out of the food area! The kids loved it. There was so much joy, friendship and adventure with all of the children playing with the animals. The guest of honour took a fall into a muddy puddle within the first 20 mins of arriving, so that was the perfect way to start off the celebrations! ... Fun E Farm is such a great party venue with lots of toys, entertainment and friendly animals, the children are kept so busy and fascinated with all of the different things to do. Nikki the clown is such a whizz at face painting and balloon modelling, and the cupcakes by Bella Cakes were simply divine even though they looked too good to eat. This party planner covered everything, this was a dream birthday party come true!

10.01.2022 During the family session I make sure there's moments with my family couple to reconnect in front of the camera. It's always beautiful because unlike the wedding day when a couple are completely besotted with each other, years have passed and there are volumes of history between them. The tender moments still happen but they aren't usually caught on camera when you're in the bustle of family life so for some it's a unique opportunity to reconnect and focus on each other, rem...embering where it all started and how you got to here. I love to hear the stories of how it began and what's happened along the way. Sometimes I ask a question or give a prompt, not asking for a direct answer but I can see the feelings and emotions that are being experienced, as they ponder and reflect on the time gone by, I always leave the session feeling enriched and uplifted & I LOVE when my couples have beautiful photos of them, a piece of their present lives to hold onto forever.
