17.01.2022 We took a massive 2 bedroom city apartment from drab to fab, opened inside to out, celebrating a prized oversized city balcony. By moving walls and doors, we created a functional 2nd bedroom & a dreamy master suite with wardrobes forever & a luxe 5 star en-suite. With a house like proportioned laundry and a master chef kitchen & open plan living from inside to out, we’re very excited with our result. We stretched ourselves & spared no expense with high end furniture & styling & it paid off with the buyer wanting to take it as it was, with all furniture & finishings just as it was!!! Next week we share our Colonial to Mid-century city Potts Point pad!! We will share each week a complete project with tips, hints, wins and mistakes we've learnt by. 13.01.2022 This apartment started as a misunderstood colonial home and was longing to be mid-century fabulous. We had to save money on the reno and chose to do part-reno and part-refurb. Bathrooms and kitchens made-over rather than ripped out, and we added a tonne of storage. Renovated on 8 weeks and sold in 4 weeks..

We didn’t always agree on everything, however we’re experienced enough to know what’s important and treating each other well was so important. 02.01.2022 Recently we were asked if we would ever use a black and white (monochromatic) style in a bedroom. We figured there was no time like the present, and so here is our example of styling a bed in these tones...it's about having fun and joy!

01.01.2022 Renovating brings some surprises....when the lid on the paint tin is not secured. And someone walks through the house with that paint tin, spilling paint from one end of the house to the other, who is at fault?...the person who didn't seal the tin, or the person who didn't check the tin before picking it up. The loser is the old carpet that, regardless,, needs to be replaced!!
