22.01.2022 This is part of the original wall on the eastern boundary of the Urrbrae High School Campus, Fullarton Road, opposite the State Heritage listed Waite Arboretum.

19.01.2022 A big thank you to Mark Winders from Mitcham Council's Local History Service for the beautiful photos that feature in our banner. If you're wondering where the photos were taken and when, they are: Horse Drawn Tram on the corner of Albert and Welbourne Streets, 1880 - Allison's Chemist, Albert Street, 1880 - Brownhill Creek, 1890s - Conquest Butcher Shop, Princes Road, 1893. More to come!

12.01.2022 Fabulous Mr Fox is looking after your heritage chooks. Lucky you.

02.01.2022 Thanks for stepping up to support us in the fight to save the Waite lodge. It's great to have so much support. You can help us in this fight by doing these two simple things: 1 - sign the on-line petition and make a comment here: https://www.change.org/p/dit-save-the-waite-lodge-and-trees... Making a comment lets the Minister know the strength of your feelings. 2 - Download, print, sign, and distribute to your own networks, the hard copy petition. This is the one that can force legislative change as once we reach 10,000 signatures, we can present it to Parliament and they must respond to it and make a recommendation to the Minister (Corey Wingard) You can do that here: https://www.samduluk.com.au/save_the_gatehouse PS - Do a third thing too! Share this on all of your networks. There is so much that can be done - for the good of all the community - when governments find the political will to do so. Let's help them find that political will!!! PPS - We will be keeping up the fight to stop Cross Road becoming the main freight corridor to get heavy freight from the SE freeway to South Road, but first the lodge!
