17.01.2022 Dear Mitcham players, supporters and families, Hope you are all going well and safe at this time. I wish to inform you that following the decision from the Vic Government yesterday the VCFA has officially cancelled the 2020 season.... As community sport is not one one of the approved activities for the next 6 weeks and as such the association has made the decision to cease the 2020 program. It's disappointing we won't get on the park in 2020 but I hope you all return to play in 2021. We don't want the year to be a compete waste so the club committee is working on possible events over the next couple months you and your friends could take part in and stay connected to your club and team mates. Big thanks to Alex for leading the organisation of training over the last few weeks as we were looking to go back. Thanks to all who put the boots back on for the kick around. Once again, thank you for being a part of the purple pride and continuing to grow the club. Hope next year we can expand our lists and provide more opportunities for all our players. 02.01.2022 MBFC V Whitehorse United Practice Match Results Warriors V Whitehorse United (Div 4) 3-1 (Loss)... Warriors had their first practice game of the season this morning and having all the boys together after 1.5 years and with a few new quality additions, the squad is showing a great deal of potential. Vikings V Whitehorse United (Div 2) 3-1 (Win) Vikings played their second practice game for the 2021 season and walked away with an easy win. The 2021 season is looking very promising for the Vikings squad. Training resumes this Tuesday with no practice matches scheduled for next weekend. All coaching and management teams will be using these games to find areas of focus for training.
