You’ll need your dancing shoes this week as we bring to you The Smarty Boys who will cover the biggest hits from the 50’s through to today, The Birds Are Spies a teenage three piece band that pack a punch! Don’t let their age fool you, they are experienced beyond their years and will deliver some amazing covers as well as some originals off their recently released EP and The Shambolics who play raucous rolling’ roots music with tunes from Dublin Bay to Vladivostok. 22.01.2022 Drop off the kids for a fun day of crafts and games at our Christmas Craft Carnival next month. Kids are welcome for five hours, or a short stay. Activities will include making Christmas cards, ornaments, pomanders, Christmas display making, Swedish woven hearts, puzzles, mini lolly houses and cookie decorating. The Christmas Craft Carnival events will take place at Mitcham Cultural Village, Blackwood Community Centre, Mitcham Memorial Library and the Cumberland Park Community Centre. 18.01.2022 It was wonderful to see so many of our valued volunteers come along to enjoy a morning tea and movie as part of National Volunteer Week at Wallis Cinemas Mitcham yesterday. Despite last year's disruptions, City of Mitcham has 370 dedicated volunteers, including 40 new recruits, who contribute 30,000 hours to our community each year. Thank you to all our volunteers!
