15.01.2022 Hey all, I am someone who takes mental health and happiness very seriously. I would rather be poor and happy than rich and unhappy. I am noticing alot of people's statuses that discuss depression. My biggest tip and is something which I live by is this, before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self esteem, first make sure that you are not, in fact, just surrounding yourself with assholes. Unhealthy relationships whether it's family, partners or work related will cause an unhealthy mind. Stay safe you beautiful souls and surround yourself with people who will help you rather than hinder you , no matter how convenient the relationship is, you have a choice.

11.01.2022 Someone asked me today, "Mitch why are you so happy considering you run trivia and other events for free, your company isn't making money and you possibly quit teaching at the worst time." I have been reading alot in isolation and the one answer I had was this, "The best thing you could do is master the chaos in you. You are not thrown into the fire, you are the fire. There are things that I control in my life and I tell you what " I am the god damn flame" I decide my own happiness not some news report or society's view on how depressing my situation is. Yes, we have a very new normal which difficult, but I am happy because I choose to be, i.run free trivia events because I choose to, I quit teaching because I chose to. I have none regrets, you cannot put out my flame as I am the master of it and my happiness.
09.01.2022 I got an exciting business offer today to be a fulltime radio host today. However, in my excitement, I realised a serious problem that we as a human race have not pondered because we have been distracted by covid19. The letter g and t on a keyboard are too close to each other. Today I learnt a valuable lesson and will never finish emails with regards anymore. They took back their offer :(.

06.01.2022 Everytime I go to Zaraffas I always pay for the next persons coffee on behalf of the Rockhampton Wolverines. Today I witnessed something magical, I paid for the next persons coffee and then whilst waiting for my coffee I watched as person after person after person passed it forward and bought the next persons or cars coffee. I left after the 15th person got their order paid for them. We live in troubling times with covid 19, racial tension and incredibly slow Australian post. But within al of this takes one kind gesture to spark something magical. Take the time this week to forget about politics, forget about political correctness and do something kind for a stranger. Remember how that feels, that's how we fight injustice, that's how we start having healing conversations. Remember that feeling.

04.01.2022 With what's happening in America at the moment, one stops to ponder. It's so difficult not be angry and outraged over the death of that young man. But violence is not the answer, looting is not the answer. You cannot make peace with a clenched fist. We should rally together but not to avenege one man, but to inspire those to change the fabric of a country that has been sewn together with the needle of a leader who sees only in black and white. I will say nothing more but l...eave you with the famous words of Martin Luther King. Violence as a way of achieving racial justice is both impractical and immoral. It is impractical because it is a descending spiral ending in destruction for all. It is immoral because it seeks to humiliate the opponent rather than win his understanding; it seeks to annihilate rather than to convert. Violence is immoral because it thrives on hatred rather than love. In the end my people, we all bleed the same color. See more
03.01.2022 Man my face is sore, still confused to why. I was being a rebel today and shopping for poptarts at woolies. I saw a woman wearing a sweat shirt with Guess on itso I said Implants?" She slapped me. If you don't want the answer why ask the question....sigh...women.
