We are multifaceted company that can offer exposure in all three areas of the business. This role is responsible for the co-ordination and installation of works in the communication and construction field. As a part of your role, you will be overseeing communicatio...ns construction works, dealing with subcontractors, suppliers, and builders. Your strength with communicating to both management and team members alike in a fast-paced working environment is a must. You must demonstrate experience in building and construction around residential/commercial fit outs producing quality workmanship and the ability to multitask. This is an active role which will have the successful applicant involved in jobs from the initial enquiry, thru the quotation and implementation/installation phases. As such there will be elements of both office and field operations. The role has the potential to lead into a project management role for the right applicant. Duties include: The primary role is the installations of cable network and equipment relevant to the communications, security, and Fire industry. Liaison with management and site representatives to provide direction and support to workers to achieve set goals and maximise efficiency. Assist with the co-ordination, management, and scheduling of activities to ensure equipment and resources are efficiently utilised to meet project outcomes. Small works quotation, site visitations and low-level site auditing. Experience: Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to liaise with customers and stakeholders. Demonstrate experience in similar technical management role in the communications, electrical or construction industry. Ability to direct and co-ordinate resources to operational requirements. Exposure to reading and interpreting tender and construction documents Sound computer literacy skills Demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Ability to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the position. Proven ability to work productively as part of a team, in a fast paced and changing workplace. Requirements/qualifications: It would be highly desirable to have an electrical licence.
