08.01.2022 An interesting article about EV's. There is a long way to go yet before you'll see a fleet of these on our roads. When you factor in battery replacements at the 8-10 year mark, the economics just don't stack up! You will however, see more manufactures turning to hybrids, which offer lower emissions than we have ever seen from vehicles tailpipes. It's interesting, around 8 years ago, there was a massive push towards diesel cars and they were touted as the future due to low em...issions. Now, the petrol engine, combined with a hybrid system is considered the drivetrain of choice for the next 10-15 years.
