24.01.2022 Under 14’s grand final teams .
22.01.2022 Cricket NSW, with support from the Sydney Cricket Association, NSW Districts Cricket Association and NSW Country Cricket Association, fully support CA’s strong recommendation to immediately stop playing cricket at all levels for the remainder of the season based on medical advice.

21.01.2022 Attention all Mitchell Cricket Council clubs and associations. The Grassroots Sports Fund closes on Wednesday for grants up to $1000 if your club or association has been financially impacted by COVID. Please contact Central West Cricket Manager Matthew Tabbernor if you require more information or assistance.
20.01.2022 Mitchell Cricket Council would like to announce the AGM will be held on Monday 20th July from 7.00pm. Owing to Covid19 restrictions, the meeting will be held online using video conferencing software. All information has been emailed to delegates today. Take minutes at meetings . Receive correspondence for the Association... . distribute correspondence to affiliated associations as required. 10.01.2022 FURTHER CHANGES: Due to coronavirus, we’ve had to implement further changes to our day to day operations. Unfortunately, this means that the remainder of the Ma...rsh Sheffield Shield has now been cancelled and it is recommended that all cricket played within the community is ceased for the remainder of the 2019/20 season. Putting the health and safety of all participants, volunteers and the wider community is our number one priority and we hope to resume normal operations as soon as it’s safe to do so. 09.01.2022 Cricket NSW would like to personally invite you to a special Coach Education Webinar that we will be hosting next Wednesday 17 June at 7pm. The session Shawn Bradstreet - A Coaching Journey will feature former NSW Blues captain and current Sydney Thunder Assistant Coach Shawn Bradstreet. The webinar will be hosted by Cricket NSW Coach and Talent Specialist Jay Lenton. Following the wonderful success of the first three Webinars in this series, Shawn’s journey will be another s...tellar perspective to what makes an ‘effective’ coach. Shawn will talk about his coaching journey, transitioning from player to coach all while running his own successful business. Shawn’s experiences with the world’s top coaches and his own personal coaching philosophies will continue to give great insights on ‘effective coaching’ that coaches at all levels will be able to utilise. Once you have registered you will receive the Microsoft Teams meeting details and instructions on how to participate in the session via email in the lead up to the event. Therefore most of you and your clubs should have received this but thought it was important I post it here. I will also post a simple info graphic that you can share to your club or association social media if you wish We are recommending that games continue with a few safety and hygiene matters being considered. For example, limit of sharing gear and water bottles, minimise handshakes and contact and no saliva or sweat to shine the ball. Please see below link for further recommendations. Thank you for all the work you have done this season which has been unprecedented with air quality, bushfires and now this.

06.01.2022 The Country Umpire of the Year is named after Principal Member Kevin Pye recognising his achievements as a country umpire in representative cricket and his commitment to supporting umpires in his role as the first Country Umpire Advisor. The winner joined the Association in 2007 and wins this award for a record-breaking fifth time.The 2019-20 season saw the winner officiate at the Australian Country Championships in Toowoomba where he was appointed by Cricket Australia to the... Men’s Division Final. He also officiated the New South Wales Country Championship Final and the Plan B Regional Bash Final at the SCG. He enjoys great respect across New South Wales for his quality decision-making, match management and composure.The Kevin Pye Medalist for season 2019-20 officiates in the Bathurst District Cricket Association, he is Secretary of the Mitchell Cricket Umpires’ Association and the NSWCUSA zone representative for Western Zone. The winner is Graeme Glazebrook.

01.01.2022 For all the coaches out there, Cricket NSW has started an online webinar series due to limits on face to face meetings. Matt Ellis, Angus and I sat through the trial of this last week and it worked quite well. I recommend that anyone with some free time to join in and just click the link below for details.
