25.01.2022 Honey for sale!! This year our honey is a Manuka honey like consistency. It is dense and has been difficult to extract. We suspect the tea tree plant (Aussie version of Manuka) is responsible. Due to the many extra man hours it has taken to extract we have put the tubs up to $12 and jars at $8. You will not be disappointed!

24.01.2022 Honey is for sale! New season $12 tubs, $8 Jars.

23.01.2022 We have checked a few hives today since the weather is warming up and even noticed the first swarm. Honey isn’t available quite yet and is probably still another 4 or so weeks away at least. Stay tuned, we will update our page as soon as it’s ready to go.

15.01.2022 Spring is in the air at Mitchell Park Honey.

15.01.2022 Winter is coming and your honey may crystallise. Why is our honey not runny all the time? The simple answer is because our honey is natural, raw and not heated but the science of it is explained below.

04.01.2022 We will have more honey for sale next Saturday. 1kg tubs will increase in price to $15. Jars will remain at $8 for 500g. We regret the increased cost to our customers - it has been difficult keeping up the supply and have also had increased costs to maintain our hives. Again, there is limited supply in this harvest and expect this to be the last taking before Xmas.

04.01.2022 Still plenty of honey for sale here!

02.01.2022 We are open but due to the heat, the honey will either be at the door or inside. Just ring the bell for service. We are open but due to the heat, the honey will either be at the door or inside. Just ring the bell for service.

Paul has been busy checking the hives today and it is not looking like there will be honey till after Christmas. The bees are starting to build up supply but it still may take a while. We will post again if circumstances change.
