14.01.2022 As always, the jumping at our own Hunter Region Showjumping Championships, sponsored by Mitchell Integrated Therapy, was superb. Roxy (Evenescence) and Coco (V...aCoco) jumped their socks off with a clear first 1.05m class for Coco and then just one unlucky rail each round for her and Roxy in the other classes. Edited - (Oops, made a mistake. Roxy placed 3rd in Friday's 1.10-15m A2.) 13.01.2022 ***Meet EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST Michelle*** Michelle is a Maitland local; she loves dragon boating and is a team coach in training for her club, Hunter River Dragons. "I enjoy rock’n’roll dancing, camping, travel and going to the beach whenever I can". Michelle is heavily involved in the local community, running a young driver education program in local high schools and a local support group.... Michelle completed her master’s in clinical exercise physiology with Charles Sturt University and has worked in the health and fitness industry for over 16 years as a personal trainer, owning her own personal training studio for 10 years. Michelle has a passion for working with clients with chronic conditions, injuries and those who need to improve general health and wellbeing and overall quality of life. She is especially keen to assist seniors to maintain good health and remain active and independent. Michelle believes in testing personal boundaries by looking and stepping outside the square to be the best version of you. Her favourite quote is When something bad happens you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you or you can let it strengthen you Dr. Seuss.

12.01.2022 On Friday afternoon, Ebony and Larissa attended the opening of the Tulips of Hope exhibition at the Readers Cafe and Larder, East Maitland. The exhibition has been established by the Maitland Parkinson’s support group President and member of our PD warrior class, Dr Helen Tolhurst. The tulip is the international symbol for Parkinson’s disease and symbolises hope. ... All funds raised from the exhibition will go towards supporting the continuation of the Maitland Parkinson’s Disease Support Group. 09.01.2022 ***Meet MASSAGE THERAPIST Craig*** Craig has recently joined the @mitchellintegratedtherapy team and is working from our Maitland rooms 9am to 7pm Tues, Wed & Thurs Craig Hill has been a practicing massage therapist in Hornsby and NSW Central Coast since 1990. He first completed his Diploma of Remedial Massage in 1990 and has recently updated his qualifications in 2018 and was awarded Institute Healer 2018 at the Australian Institute of Fitness. He has training in Modern Cu...pping Therapy, Remedial Stone Fusion, Sports Massage and Kinesio Tapping. He has joined the Mitchell Integrated Therapy team to help people dealing with a range of soft tissue injuries, lower back and shoulder pain, helping them find a solution and a resolution to their issue.
