25.01.2022 Our number one priority is the health, safety and wellbeing of our teams and our community. 24.01.2022 Our new underground fish transfer system at Whale Point is a success! Last week we moved approximately 160,000 fish from our Nursery into the Ronja Storm. The u...nderground pipe is around 1100 metres long and has oxygen injection manifolds visible from above ground. Moving our fish this way means less handling which we believe will result in better fish health and performance following the transition from freshwater to saltwater Thank you to Step Aquaculture and Engineering Services, George Eaves Welding, Gandy & Roberts, BC Electrical, Cromarty, Billund Aquaculture, Mitchell Plastic Welding, Haugland and of course our own Freshwater and Marine Operations teams for their work on this project.

24.01.2022 Did you see our feature in the Huon News last Wednesday?

24.01.2022 The next generation of fish farmers got out of the classroom to tour our Whale Point Salmon Nursery and Mitchell Plastic Welding's pen building facility, roto-m...oulding factory and fabrication workshop. The Pathway Program group is made up of Huonville High School, St James Catholic College and Dover District School students who have an interest in working in the aquaculture, agriculture and trade sectors. The aim of the site visits was to expose the students to different employment options available in the Huon Valley. With a number of students interested in a career in aquaculture or undertaking a trade, students heard from staff about the variety of roles in each workplace and the skills that potential employers look for, not just certificates, but attitude, reliability, communication, and team work, said Alison Stebbing, Huon's Education Relations Advisor, who accompanied the tour.

Together with suppliers Plasson Australia and SIMONA AG they have chosen to sponsor one of our Tasmanian devils as they believe they represent our beautiful state.
