17.01.2022 Well done to these amazing girls for participating in The Roma Eisteddfod today. They all sang beautifully and did an amazing job. Congratulations to Grace Donaldson, Willow Ware, Avie Mackay, Colbee Kenafake, Milla Lawson, Arleeah Dobbin, Heidi Luckoff, Georgia Bayliss, Eliza Schafer and Claudia Schafer. A huge thank you goes to Mrs Donaldson for teaching the girls, dedicating your time for all the practices during and after school and all your hard work. Also thanks to Birko for another safe bus trip.

A... perfect opportuntity to get your 2020 Santa Photos and browse the CWA Markets. Santa photo's will be free, all you will need to do is provide an email address on the day to receive your digital copy! We look forward to seeing everyone there!

05.01.2022 Hello everyone. As you are aware children were sent home with a letter and a pamphlet last week. This is what Mitchell state school is taking part in fundraising day for Daniel. The foundation's objectives are: 1. To educate children regarding their personal safety (including abduction). 2. To assist victims of crime, particularly where crime involves children. 3. To remember Daniel with suitable child safety community awareness events. 4. To support the families of Missing... Persons particularly where it involves children. On Friday the 30th October end of week 4 the students will be putting red ribbon on the school front great followed by a walk around the school . Parents are invited to come and watch on the outside of the school if they would like. It is very important that we keep our kids safe and they are aware of this . It's also very achievable for the students as they only need to raise $10 to receive a prize. Thank you Mrs Baker

02.01.2022 Wednesday Morning we were blessed to have Aunty Lynette, Saraeva & Bobbie-Rae attend our school to celebrate our 2020 Naidoc Week 'Always Was, Always Will be' They told the students and staff stories, language translations and performed a smoking ceremony. We are very thankful and honoured to have had them at Mitchell State School this week. ... Thank you to our wonderful photographer for capturing these special moments.
