Browny, as he's more commonly known, was part of the 1st men's online mediation group that I ran. I was blown away by his story and energy that he brings to each and every moment.... Browny has been working in the world of action sports for more than a decade and has played a significant role in delivering shows like The Crusty Demons and The Nitro Circus. A travelling extreme sports circus which showcases the worlds best BMX, skateboarding and freestyle motor cross athletes in the world. Nathan has created a highly enviable career that any sports management professional would love to step into. But that's not how Browny felt. Nathan was diagnosed with depression over two years ago and has been to some dark places within himself and even had suicidal thoughts at one point. Browny's story is one of positivity and hope that with the right support and self-effort you can overcome the inner obstacles that you're facing. This state is termed psychophysiological coherence because it is characterized by increased order and harmony in both our psychological (mental and emotional) and physiological (bodily) processes. I have begun with 3 minutes of immersion, which is quite a challenge. - I feel reduced stress levels.... - A higher level of awareness. - Increased willpower throughout the day. For you must achieve the state that you are wanting before you can truly aim to create what you want in your future. You see its all about the feeling. If you can train yourself to already be feeling how you want to feel in that future event, you enhance your capacity to perform in an ideal state that you believe will help you execute that perfect performance.... Visualise your ideal performance. Being a great dad, kicking the goal or giving that presentation and see yourself performing at a high level. Connect to the feeling that gives you. Breathe that feeling deep into your heart and then allow the heart to transfer that message to the rest of the body. In the connection between the heart and the brain is it the heart that is communicating up to 80% of the messages up to the brain. 01.01.2022 Ep.10 Meditation Changed My Life with Nathan Brown This episode of The Love Over Fear Podcast connects us with Nathan Brown. Browny, as he's more commonly known, was part of the 1st men's online mediation group that I ran. I was blown away by his story and energy that he brings to each and every moment. Browny has been working in the world of action sports for more than a decade and has played a significant role in delivering shows like The Crusty Demons and The Nitro Circu...s. A travelling extreme sports circus which showcases the worlds best BMX, skateboarding and freestyle motor cross athletes in the world. Browny has created a highly enviable career that any sports management professional would love to step into. But that's not how Browny felt. Nathan was diagnosed with depression over two years ago and has been to some dark places within himself and even had suicidal thoughts at one point. Browny's story is one of positivity and hope that with the right support and self-effort you can overcome the inner obstacles that you're facing. Browny, in my eyes, is as inspiration and shares with us how meditation, counselling, being more open and vulnerable and connecting with love ones and friends has got him back to a place where he is more aligned and connected to himself. 01.01.2022 Optimal Performance in my opinion is to be able to guide your mind, emotions and body in the moments when you are under the most stress. To find clarity, compassion, connection and coherence when your external environment is in chaos and to overcome the obstacles that are in front of you with grace and flow are the hallmarks of any high performer. This week I was stressed and I was challenged and I lost my cool - I yelled a shit load! It gave me the feedback that I still ...have work do to regarding my inner peace while under pressure. I didn't enjoy it. It made me feel shattered. To help me find more peace when my external world is pushing on me I have been exposing myself to cold water (10 degrees today). My intention is to not push away the uncomfortable feeling from the water but to allow myself to feel the cold in all it's harshness. To then use my breath, my heart and my mind to come together to find peace with the reality of what is and to then choose how I wan't to respond within that moment. Give it a try. Start with 30 seconds and build your way up from there. Try the shower if you can't access a pool. This practice is creating such a solid mindset for me. I am enjoying the art of connecting my breath, mind, heart and body together and finding actual peace, even when it's cold AF! #performance

08.12.2021 Belated congratulations to Jackson Walls Racing for competing in and completing his 1st Bathurst event. The Carrera Cup Season was not ideal with all of the disruptions.
