13.01.2022 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY Around the world, youth are growing into problem-solvers and game-changers. Here at the Mitchell Youth Leadership Forum, we love being a part of this development and providing opportunities for young people to lead. To our Year 12s: you are the future. Keep strong in these times and lead the way!

07.01.2022 In light of COVID-19, we would like to provide an update about our 2020 forum. We remain hopeful that we will be able to proceed with the 2020 Mitchell Youth Leadership Forum in October as planned. We will continue to closely monitor the situation over the coming months and will make our final decision in July. In the event of the forum not being able to proceed, we will look to offer an alternative format to still be able to provide young student leaders with an opportunity... to build their capacity and grow the values of service, integrity and courage. At the Mitchell Youth Leadership Forum, the wellbeing of our team and our community is our highest priority. We will continue to keep in touch with further details and updates as we move forward in the coming months and hopefully see an end to this pandemic. To our Year 12s, we hope you are managing these new challenges well. Your Small Group Leaders and teams are here to support you . We encourage you to reach out to them during this time.

07.01.2022 Wednesday Drive with Scott Frappell this week saw an interview with CEO of the Mitchell Youth Leadership Forum & local community member, Tristan Smith Living, w...orking, socialising & getting his education in the Hills District, Tristans value for community spirit shines at the Forum, as he spoke about how the event impacts the lives of young people, the true meaning of being a leader, and the vision heading forward. 2020 was not an easy year for the Forum, but with Tristan captaining the ship, the Mitchell Youth Leadership Forum will successfully enter its 20th year of delivering service, integrity & courage to the Hills in 2021. 06.01.2022 Congratulations to Mitchell Old who attended the forum in 2018. We love following the success of our past student leaders!

06.01.2022 28 days. Vision lasts for 28 days. Just over 28 days ago, our students left the forum feeling inspired, driven and passionate. They were encouraged to create change based off that vision with the -I WILL- cards. They were asked to write that vision down and act on it. ... To you who went: what have you accomplished in that 28 days? And what are you doing with the next 28?

In spite of the Forum looking very different this year, we are still keen and ready to facilitate some awesome discussion around service, integrity and courage with our young people. #service #integrity #courage #mitchellforum2020
