20.01.2022 Tonight Channel 9 aired a story on migraines and headaches. Although the story was clearly a marketing tool for the business on the story, the technique they used was unmistakably "the Watson headache approach". Ill put a link up for the patients who are interested in more info on this subject. To use the techniques you must have done the course which I did 4 years ago. I was lucky enough to be taught by Dean Watson himself. I have copied a part of the website regarding t...he Watson headache approach: The Watson Headache Approach: -aims to identify relevancy of afferent information from the C1-3 spinal nerves to headache and migraine conditions, and also other symptoms potentially arising from the upper 3 cervical afferents, for example dizziness or vertigo, cyclic vomiting, idiopathic eye pain etc. -comprises a series of techniques, which, when applied in a systematic way, accurately identifies the upper cervical spinal segments responsible for symptoms of headache or migraine -confirms relevancy when reproduction of symptoms, most commonly head pain, occurs, and then, as the examination technique is sustained, head pain resolves -with its unique, fundamental and powerful feature i.e., reproduction and resolution of typical head pain in migraineurs was the subject of recent research which demonstrated DE-sensitization of sensitized brainstems. Note: the underlying disorder in headache and migraine is a sensitized brainstem -uses the same assessment techniques within unprecedented clinical reasoning to treat and restore function to the involved segments http://watsonheadache.com/

11.01.2022 Under 20's men's World Cup Futsal, Valledupar Es Mundial,Colombia. I was privileged to work with an amazing bunch of young men in Colombia. They showed heart, commitment and dedication but above all, respect to each other and to the technical staff. Next year it will be my 4th time as the physiotherapist for the Federation of Australian Futsal - FAF. This time it will be for the Men's World Cup In Argentina.

09.01.2022 From 1 February 2018, medicines containing codeine will no longer be available without a prescription. If you still require medication with codeine please make sure you make an appointment with your GP to discuss your need for this medication. There is a very good video which explains pain in 5 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_3phB93rvI

05.01.2022 I went as a supporter (with a back up physio kit as I cant help myself) to the national futsal titles in Sydney. Unexpectedly I worked on 15+ kids on a daily basis for 4 days. Thank God I took enough tape and blister packs with me. I was very privileged to work on a great bunch of 14, 15 and 16 year old boys and girls.
